  1. RW, RB, LB and.a dominant cm. Oh and a striker. We're doomed
  2. I whole heartily agree. Just their body language in defence seemed more relaxed then against Wolves. What also impressed me was his ability to catch a ball in a crowd. He was strong and made the right decisions. When he was under pressure, he punched it and got it clear enough. Could he have done better for goal 2? Maybe I'm being a bit harsh. But overall I feel so much more relaxed with Jakub, he looks a decent keeper at this level. As I say I like him.
  3. Let's face it, we were expecting a lot worse. They're top and we're in the relegation zone for a reason. Defending could be better for the goals, but 2 were great finishes and one they had great movement off the ball to cause chaos in the box. If Daka has done better with his chance, we might be in with more of a shout. But the quality difference was glaringly obvious. Positives - - no Ward...phew! He's done at this level and club. - a much better attitude from the players and we did create a 2 decent chances. - we scored! Great attack and to be fair a great finish by Ayew to squeeze it passed the keeper. I know it took a deflection, but it caught everyone by surprise. - Jakub. He's definitely not up to Mads level, but he's elite. But he pulled off some good saves, and looked confident. Couldn't ask much more and more than happy to have him as backup and our number 1 next season. Negatives - defensive coach needed so badly. Liverpools movement was great, but we need to do better. - it's clear we need reinforcements to have any chance. The poor manager decision and signings in the summer are taking their toll. - we are badly missing our players who are out. Ndidi, Ricardo, Mads, Vards and Fatawu. That's a lot of players out and any relegation threatened side will struggle with.that many key players out. - Skipp. Levy had our pants down. Rudkin out! Like I say better than expected and if we had beaten wolves wouldnt be too disheartened by that scoreline. But the fact we lost to wolves has made our job so much harder. They won today again, so they now have momentum, where we have incredibly tough fixtures where we'll get 0pts. If wolves win again, the gap will be an impossible to close I think. Getting people in Jan has just been made harder due to us being in the relegation zone. The EFL has our leg and is pulling us back down to punish us, and not in a good sexual way. Changes we needed when we got relegated last time, alas it's groundhog day with the same people in charge above. Could you see RvN walking away from this mess?
  4. I will chant Rudkin out. But the problem is much bigger than one person. He needs to go, but the whole structure needs changing with competency. But Top doesn't know who that is or who to employ, thatx the issue and the reason Rudkin is still in post. We are down again and it's the same board making the decisions as 2022/23. Shocking, so I will chant Rudkin out, but we need more to change before we notice a difference, one man gone won't solves the enormous problems
  5. This I agree with. But can see why people are concerned with RVN as well. Goals conceded worries me. But we haven't had our best 11 in the last 3 games. Our 1st 11 can complete, the rest are not up to the standard. We need investment in the squad but to do it in Jan while in the relegation zone is a tough ask. That should have been right in the summer and it was left to a clown telling a clown to buy a substandard player for a stupid amount. Bilal the exception as I think there's a player there.
  6. That finish by Salah was class. He used VK to block the site of Jakub. Sometimes you just have hold up your hands and admit he a great player and defender is championship standard.
  7. He did very well. He looked confident and wasn't afraid to take control in a crowd. I really like the lad. Can catch as well when under pressure. Made the right decisions today. Can't ask much more. As others say easily our number 1 in the championship when Mads leaves.
  8. Tactically, I thought it was the correct way to set up. Implementation not as good due to limited player ability. Better than I thought, at least we saw effort. Jakub carried himself well, but this is why wins with clean sheets against teams around us is important. Our goal difference is taking a battering. We're down.
  9. Ref is a bit poor, a shock to no one
  10. Here we go 🫣
  11. About the same amount touches we'll have today
  12. I completely agree, I just don't trust the people in the board room to make the right decisions
  13. But will the players we need to stay up come to us?? After the new year, the gap could be quite a distance, we're not getting any points this Christmas and in March/April
  14. That's it ladies and gentlemen..... we're down
  15. Honestly Man Utd can do one.
  16. Let's face it, we're down and out. This is a mainly championship squad that was badly invested in by Pooper recommended players and trusted by a clown as DoF and board members. Need a clear out, but it's far too late. 7-0
  17. Ayew should NOT be starting. It's soooo obvious all season
  18. Is it really that bad in Liverpool Just imagine the away fans travelling to this one, on a stupid kick off time only to be told it's cancelled. That'll just rub salt into the wound. But would it be better just to get it over with? Or have it called off?
  19. Oh crap! That defence against Salah and co
  20. Seems logical as Vards picked up a knock against Wolves towards the end, I thought.
  21. The fans going will have to entertain themselves with chants such as "lets pretend we've scored!", cheer when we have a shot are some ideas
  22. And counselling after
  23. You're still on the Christmas drinks, aren't you?
  24. You lot have stronger stomachs than I do. Fair play. Awful time, awful form, awful likely outcome. At least I can switch it off.
  25. Genuinely, who is going to this?
