Kasey Palmer is a shit, temperamental show pony with a bad attitude. Just the sort of player we definitely need.

Very good approach by West Ham to pricing meant a total sell out. 10 quid adults and 1 quid kids. Better to see a full athletics stadium than a half empty one.

Yeah football is all about winning trophies and I want us to set the record for most 2nd tier titles. Call me entitled but I'd actually be very disappointed if we only finished 2nd.

LCFC must offer General Sale to fans
Brizzle Fox replied to Union FS's topic in Leicester City Forum
Same story as many here. Season ticket holder for many years, moved away and kept season ticket but couldn't get to enough games to make it worthwhile. Then still managed to get to around half a dozen games a season via general sale. That avenue subsequently closed, so don't go to any games now. More importantly than this, the policy as currently applied really inhibits potential new, young supporters getting the bug. Sad and short sighted. Fair play UFS putting this back on the agenda. -
The usual top quality GBeebies content.

Indeed. Wonder how good he is at eating a bacon sandwich though?

Lived there for a year. 90% of the population were inbred (may not be an accurate statistic) and 95% liked to have a fight with cabbage cutting knives outside kebab shops on a Friday and Saturday night (see previous statistical caveat). The best of times.

Is Cosby chippie still around? A feature of my childhood and for many years after I left Leicester. Was always really, really good if crazy big sized portions.
-
Nope. Seems all the rage for clueless nobodies to create such Podcasts, 99% of which seem to simply be auditions for a gig on Talkshite or similar. Get a proper job lads.

Dunno you'd have to ask Villareal that I'd suggest.

He was one I wanted in the summer so yes please

Sad reflection of the inbalance between the Prem and EFL however that the 3 relegated clubs will probably end up filling the top 3 spots come season end.

@CosbehFox to be honest the section of the interview that was edited out is probably the most insightful... Will be interesting to see what the atmosphere is like today against crisis club Sheffield Wednesday. Two sets of fans in love with their ownership.

It's one game against one of the better teams in the league. A game that tbh could have gone either way. Hardly the end of the world. However I do think our veneer of invincibility is starting to wear off, and have thought as much over the last few games. Despite the overall stats being good, the chances do seem to be drying up, with us struggling to open teams up. Despite our squad being crazy strong for this league, there are still a few weak links, most specifically and I hate to say it Vardy, who is contributing nothing at the moment, also Casadei is no way good enough for us. Also we are really really missing Ndidi, who is so important to the way we set up Anyway we've still had a very strong start to the season, and I think we're nailed on for promotion, however will be interesting to see how we shape up against Boro, who will be another tough test. At least we're away from home!

Oh the ultimate Nepo Baby. Daddy only usually let's him out once a season with his crayons to play at designing the goalkeeper kits...you can see why he doesn't let him out to do interviews very often. Even in a scripted, soft touch interview like this he still comes across as a scared, clueless little boy. Cowardly and entitled and not fit to lace Nige's shiny whites.

Cos we have a lot of weirdos who support us maybe?
-
Yeah the Rennie fallacy is laughable when it comes to injuries...however where he did improve the players was conditioning for those who actually stayed fit!
-
Yup. All correct and he's actually more of a rugby man anyway. The issue is more how the football, rugby and basketball clubs are all wrapped up under the Bristol Sports corporate umbrella. It's no secret that Lansdown has wanted to sell the football club for ages, but he insists selling the entire Bristol Sports umbrella and all potential buyers linked so far are only interested in the football club. The football club has no chance until this changes.
-
Club needs a reboot and that will only happen under new owners. Won't happen until they separate off the football from the rugby and basketball clubs under their bollax "Bristol Sports" monikor, as no one wants the full package.
-
He's been booted. Been on the cards for ages. The owner doesn't even speak to him. Lansdown senior and junior only want a manager who says how's great they are and do everything they want. That ain't Nige as we know. Junior actually came out and said promotion was the ambition this season and blamed recent results....yeah by selling your best players and reinvesting bugger all of that money. So many injuries as well they they had a full bench of kids at the weekend. Never seen a fanbase so united against a decision by the ownership. Joke of a football club

Agree with this and the attached goes into this to a degree but is also one of the most even handed and level headed opinion pieces on the current situation I've read on the hate site that is X. There are sane voices out there on both sides but unfortunately they tend to get drowned out by the myopic extremists, be they Israeli or Palestinian.

It's very much not exclusive to us. Pretty much the same everywhere, particularly for city based clubs. Is it a by product of poor road and rail infrastructure, habit or something else, I don't know. For instance amongst my friends who I go to Ashton Gate with, we actually do a sweepstake every home game, as to what minute the away fans start to sing "is there a fire drill" as the place empties out......seems to get earlier each week. Struggle to understand it, especially with the amount of late goals that seem to get scored these days.

I think it's a combination of factors with Ipswich. A settled team, a fantastic manager, a confidence and impetus from promotion, a very specific, ambitious way of playing etc. However at some point injuries and suspensions will probably kick in and you would suspect that they won't have the squad strength to continue in their current vein. Still think however because of their start that they should end up challenging for a play off spot. One other thing, they still carry with them that sense of newness, that means that teams aren't giving them the respect they deserve when they set up against them. Preston are a good example. 11 men behind the ball against us but had a right go against Ipswich, which left them open to a battering. You would imagine that at some point teams will cotton on and not set up so open against them, which very much plays into their strengths.

Not sure if it was on here or somewhere else but saw a comment that Cruella was what you get if you feed Priti after midnight... Now need to go and watch Gremlins again.

Who do you want for next season in the PL
Brizzle Fox replied to Fightforever's topic in Transfer Talk
Tommy Conway is all I ask.
