  1. Ah the good old 777 Partners full or partial ownership model for football clubs. The quickest way to make yourself skint.
  2. Well that was delightful.
  3. Well that was a bit shit
  4. Yeah I must admit that I have got a tear in my eye after reading that. Emotional day all round really, after reading this as well....
  5. That is an excellent article. Almost as if you read my thoughts, then wrote them down in coherent sentences.
  6. More ***** and less limp cocks is exactly what we need...
  7. That would be the same BBC that has active Tories / Tory donors in most of the Exec roles. And believe it or not she then went on GBeebies which employs at least 4 serving Tory MPs and praised them for their, checks notes, political balance.... This government has gone so far beyond parody now, I assume they're just having a laugh in the dying days of their hideous 14 years in power.
  8. Never let a goal in for us, never let us down. Take care Alex and enjoy your well earned retirement.
  9. My main takeaways from the game tonight were that the West Ham fans leave all their singing in the pub, don't like Danny Ings very much and that Kurt Zouma moves like he's shat his pants. Oh and that Matty James still looks like a decent player when playing against a midfield who just can't be arsed. Was a very enjoyable evening.
  10. Kasey Palmer is a shit, temperamental show pony with a bad attitude. Just the sort of player we definitely need.
  11. Very good approach by West Ham to pricing meant a total sell out. 10 quid adults and 1 quid kids. Better to see a full athletics stadium than a half empty one.
  12. Yeah football is all about winning trophies and I want us to set the record for most 2nd tier titles. Call me entitled but I'd actually be very disappointed if we only finished 2nd.
  13. Same story as many here. Season ticket holder for many years, moved away and kept season ticket but couldn't get to enough games to make it worthwhile. Then still managed to get to around half a dozen games a season via general sale. That avenue subsequently closed, so don't go to any games now. More importantly than this, the policy as currently applied really inhibits potential new, young supporters getting the bug. Sad and short sighted. Fair play UFS putting this back on the agenda.
  14. The usual top quality GBeebies content.
  15. Indeed. Wonder how good he is at eating a bacon sandwich though?
  16. Lived there for a year. 90% of the population were inbred (may not be an accurate statistic) and 95% liked to have a fight with cabbage cutting knives outside kebab shops on a Friday and Saturday night (see previous statistical caveat). The best of times.
  17. Is Cosby chippie still around? A feature of my childhood and for many years after I left Leicester. Was always really, really good if crazy big sized portions.
  18. Nope. Seems all the rage for clueless nobodies to create such Podcasts, 99% of which seem to simply be auditions for a gig on Talkshite or similar. Get a proper job lads.
  19. Dunno you'd have to ask Villareal that I'd suggest.
  20. He was one I wanted in the summer so yes please
  21. Sad reflection of the inbalance between the Prem and EFL however that the 3 relegated clubs will probably end up filling the top 3 spots come season end.
  22. @CosbehFox to be honest the section of the interview that was edited out is probably the most insightful... Will be interesting to see what the atmosphere is like today against crisis club Sheffield Wednesday. Two sets of fans in love with their ownership.
  23. It's one game against one of the better teams in the league. A game that tbh could have gone either way. Hardly the end of the world. However I do think our veneer of invincibility is starting to wear off, and have thought as much over the last few games. Despite the overall stats being good, the chances do seem to be drying up, with us struggling to open teams up. Despite our squad being crazy strong for this league, there are still a few weak links, most specifically and I hate to say it Vardy, who is contributing nothing at the moment, also Casadei is no way good enough for us. Also we are really really missing Ndidi, who is so important to the way we set up Anyway we've still had a very strong start to the season, and I think we're nailed on for promotion, however will be interesting to see how we shape up against Boro, who will be another tough test. At least we're away from home!
  24. Oh the ultimate Nepo Baby. Daddy only usually let's him out once a season with his crayons to play at designing the goalkeeper kits...you can see why he doesn't let him out to do interviews very often. Even in a scripted, soft touch interview like this he still comes across as a scared, clueless little boy. Cowardly and entitled and not fit to lace Nige's shiny whites.
  25. Cos we have a lot of weirdos who support us maybe?
