  1. Shouldn't count unless it's 3 inches over, imo.
  2. Well that's excellent value for money. Well done all. Brilliant.
  3. Defensive issues solved. Onwards and upwards.
  4. Good, Richards has looked awesome so far.
  5. Middlesbrough looking decent/Blackburn looking poor so far.
  6. Comes across as a genuine bloke. I hope his Canadian team have a strong WC. I wonder where we would be now if it wasn't for that phone call? My guess is that we would be exactly where we are now.
  7. QPR just our bogey team this season. We'll be fine. Plenty of points to play for and the other 4 teams fighting are more trash than us. We'll have more weekends where we'll lose and others will win, it's the unpredictability of the Championship. And we'll have days where we win and everyone else loses.
  8. Kimi Antonelli will be an absolute superstar. Would be fantastic to see him in a top notch Ferrari in the future.
  9. The manager picks the team, but I'm convinced his hands are ties by clauses in contracts that guarantees minutes for certain players.
  10. I think we'll be OK, but it's a mad league. There's no real way of knowing what will be a big game. Blackburn have a really tricky run in. Two of their home games are against fellow relegation battlers which can be a blessing or a curse and their other two home games are against the current top 2.
  11. 2 from 5 to go down. Not a bad round of fixtures, 2 wins, 2 losses and a draw, and we got one of the wins. Onto the next.
  12. Finishing stronger than we start? Interesting
  13. I said it a while back... He just needs a run in the team.
  14. I suspect we might lose today. Whatever.
  15. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cq577v126g9o Surgeon in London performs surgery on a patient in Gibraltar using robotics. Amazing.
  16. A final hoorah from Rudkin before an actual adult comes in at the end of the month to take some control of signings?
  17. I can only assume Rudkin has inserted a clause into the contract that guarantees a certain number of minutes on the pitch.
  18. Decision making 2 seconds too late, running 2mph too slow and passes 2 yards off. Poor.
  19. Hasn't it been said that the fastest way to become a millionaire is to be a billionaire and buy a football club?
  20. PSR absolutely is a barrier. A smaller club can, through smart spending, punch above their weight for a season or two or three, but the rules are such that it's unsustainable without an impossibly significant increase in revenue. That's why the likes of Man Utd will always be able to spend their way out of trouble because they can, according to the rules, they can spend more than double or even treble on wages that we did even at our height, without even thinking about it. Now, just because it's unsustainable to stay at the top for more than a few years, doesn't mean failure is guaranteed. To experience a fall from grace such as ours, you need some pretty stupid spending decisions to be made. PSR keeps the big clubs at the top of over the long term, smaller clubs just have to be wary about their ambition. I think Crystal Palace might be the club outside of the big 6 and Everton who have been in the Premier League for the longest unbroken period (promoted in 12/13 I think). Steady mid-table team with an FA Cup in the cabinet. That's about as good as it gets.
  21. I thought they charged us. We argued the rules weren't fit for purpose so it went nowhere. Then they changed the rules to stop a repeat of that situation and we were then actually dumb enough to break the rules again (and again?)
  22. He just needs a decent run in the side
