  1. We did invite them on to us granted, but I don't think they created much or our keeper making any miraculous saves. We were 2 minutes away from shutting them out and an individual error that cost us. I'm taking the positives. I'd be delighted if we finish 4th bottom to be honest.
  2. We are treading a fine line. At this level, if we open up too much, we will get picked off and get pumped 3 or 4. The tactic is to be solid, strong and to try and stay in games. A lot of teams have more quality than us.
  3. Do you realize where we are as a club right now? The issue seems to be that some fans have an unrealistic sense of entitlement, thinking we have a divine right to show up at Crystal Palace and easily beat them. We simply don’t have the squad for that! Let’s not forget, the last time we were in the Premier League, Crystal Palace beat us at their place, and they had the most shots in one half that they's had all seaon, in the first half! We also got thrashed 5-3 by Fulham that season. Expectations need to be more grounded.
  4. We lost by 1 goal against Fulham, we drew with Spurs and drew with Palace, so we were competitive in energy game. Did you not watch them?
  5. We'll be more attacking at home. You've got to stay in games in this division.. if you go too gung ho you can find yourself 2 or 3 down in a blink of an eye and the game is done. I'm happy that we have been competitive in every game so far.
  6. Is it not just the case that if Coady hadn't have been so stupid, we would have got all 3 points?
  7. Same here! This is baffling
  8. Can someone confirm if it was definitely onside?
  9. This thread needs closing FFS.
  10. Seems a logical lineup. We're trying to stay in the game for as long as possible
  11. Good addition. Target man, strong, works hard, will bring our more skilful players into the game.
  12. It's genuine incompetence everywhere you look in life currently, from the governments globally to our football club!
  13. Apparently, if he makes a premier league appearance for us then we owe Everton another million quid!
  14. Why is it tactically awful? You do realise that the last time we went to Craven Cottage we conceded 5, with arguably a more superior team?
  15. He's had 2 competitive games!! Are people really this stupid?
  16. Agree with this. We got absolutely embarrassed by Fulham last time we played them at craven. I honestly don't know what people expect. We were in the game up until the end, we defended quite well and we showed some fight. We still have a lack of quality but it's a fine balancing act between playing flair players and being hard to beat.

  18. Surely we need another quality central midfielder!
  19. He should probably stay at Galatasary then
  20. But then a lot of people say that the jump from the championship to the premier League is huge! Cooper has mentioned it several times in his interviews.
  21. Yeah, he's an average championship/ league 1 player. Whilst he has a decent football brain, he hasn't got the physical attributes to cut it in the prem. He's not athletic or quick enough unfortunately.

  23. I just feel that he embodies a lot of the traits that made Leicester so special. He seems the right fit for us. I hope I'm right!
  24. I like what he's saying. He is saying all the right things and you can tell, he's grateful and privileged to be here.
