Great to have the promotion on the CV but I’m reserving full judgement until next season. Hopefully he’s learnt we have to play different against some teams. If we play like he set us up against Chelsea we’ll be the same as burnley and come straight back down

If we can’t spend money we won’t get anyone near the level of Vardy, maybe even Daka

He’s still got it. He’s a confidence player, when he’s on confidence he’ll bang them in. Remember he wasn’t playing top tier football till he was 27/28 so his body hasn’t suffered like others that start much younger. He could still get double figures in the PL which would be huge for us next year

For his wages I wouldn’t keep Vestergaard he’s not good enough for PL on 75k a week. I’d try to keep Wilf tho. we need to unearth some cheap gems. Is Steve Walsh available?

Not sure he’ll be fussed but the great think about Marc is… he will 100% be determined to ensure we get promoted and he plays a part in that. He made a huge difference in 14/15 comeback (one of the changes NP made in the turnaround), 15/16 title win, Champions league and FA Cup win. This would be a great way for him to finish with us.

I’d start him. The way we play (with basically no right back) he’d make us more solid defensively as well as providing decent options attacking wise Fatawuu coming on as a sub against a tired defence is a bonus plus he needs resting

For all those saying he’s past it… he’s played 90 mins in 2 games in 2024 for us. Both games he got an assist

Enzo’s biggest problem is he has no Plan B. Until he changes this he will never be a top manager

The FFP rules are crap. Also, at what point in our history have we splashed the cash? We’ve finally got owners who are willing to invest. I remember the 5 years following administration the investment was non existent. If we start to comply with FFP then us as fans have to acccept investment on the level of Mike Ashley at Newcastle cos that is basically what the current rules allow. The same fans staying we didn’t sign enough players etc etc after every transfer window are the same saying sack the board for spending money on players

We’re in the business end of the season. He was signed to replace Daka. The coaches see all strikers in training every day. If Everton prefer to keep / play Beto instead of Cannon then that may indicate the level he’s at. Vardy, Ihenancho and Daka are all better than Beto
