He’s a water carrier. Enzo knew this and got the best out of him in Enzos system. At the moment he’s not want we need in a relegation dogfight.

Everton 4-0 LCFC, post match thread

I don’t think the o p asked the question for that reason- it was simply a genuine question how did Mads do on his return? That’s fair. Off the subject thought, personally I wouldn’t have played Mads yesterday after the Spurs win and JS performance. I’m old fashioned, and believe in stick with a winning team. Plus when I played years ago I hated it when players came straight back in after absence- not that I was the one dropped of course! Anyway, I’m not the manager or a coach being paid a lot of money to scrape enough points from a weak squad, so what do I know . -

I gave up at half time so won’t vote , but confidence in Ruud has gone down. -

I try thought he looked rusty first half with his passes forward- one nearly gifted them a goal -
Any better yet? I don’t know if to turn it back on or wash the car

It’s because Faes had him marked but didn’t react to his movement

LCFC 0-2 Fulham, post match thread
old koppite replied to Phil Mitchell's topic in Leicester City Forum
I’ve just watched the Sky short highlights on YouTube ( just because I love pain) to see how the 2 goals were gifted away again, and they showed more chances for us than them - so angry we didn’t get a point from that game and how on earth is the block on Soumare not a foul!!? No intention of playing the ball, he knew he couldn’t get to it , didn’t know if any other defender could- just crap. Didn’t the same player do a similar full on barge on elk in the first half? Ref useless . I agree with people annoyed at Vesty for not anticipating for their 1st , and Mav for gawping for second. Ruud must be so peed off. -
Come on Man City 2 more please
-
We played Chelsea with Cooper in charge so not a fair comparison and didn’t Chelsea batter them on chances but Ipswich won on with a smash and grab. I’d say we’re similar level and we’ll beat them at home

We helped their rehab!

From memory I think the Ayew incident in the first couple of minutes was clearer. stupid weak ref didn’t give as cliche “ too early in game “ -
Are they though? We lost 2 -0 to Man City and gave them a bit of a game
-
Hope so - at least gives them a worse goal difference than us
-
Yeah course, he is !

I’m enthusiastic for every game , always have been. Loved and played the game since a young boy and always proud to say I’m Leicester born and bred, and support Citeh.

Blimey, I didn’t realise Seagrave was so impressive !

I thought Vesty had a good game, but just watched their 1st goal again and under no pressure he headed straight to Barclay, and with our midfielders being caught by surprise there was the space and time for the shot. Arrghhh .

Villa (Away) Saturday 4th Jan 3pm (Match Thread)
old koppite replied to tcrofts's topic in Leicester City Forum
It’s not a gimmick though is it! For all we know ward might have been prime Peter Shilton in training and did everything right for Ruud and the coaches. Sorry, but that’s not how I remember some FTers at the time talking about EK and AF! -

Makes me laugh that some of you lot on here don’t seem to take into account that Ruud has worked with the players all week and probably watched hours of recordings of how Villa play, and he has concluded the line up is the best he can put out to handle them. -
Just being pendantic- you said all Championship games. Probably his best for the club was the home win against Liverpool. I think he got motm? Weren’t we also weakened with injuries and expected to lose? Anyway he isn’t showing enough to be a modern prem midfielder. I can see why managers might think from training sessions he can do a job as a dcm , but it doesn’t work often enough in actual matches. Shame as I always want local lads to do well.

Liverpool at home when he had a blinder in defence?

Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official
old koppite replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
Of course, so we can assume he and the coaches would have said at halftime for them to be alert from the whistle, and in training delegated someone to organise the line for free kicks outside our box, but how can we blame him and the coaches when the second goal happens? They must have a delegated player (Vesty or Coady?)- whichever needs a rocket. -
Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official

How could Ruud and the coaching staff have expected, or be responsible for all the team switching off completely for their second goal? We started the second half brightly on the attack. We give a stupid free kick away on the edge of our box, everyone’s asleep and they get a gift goal, which no goalie could have stopped. -

Not the second goal though and probably most important of the game. What were we doing - everyone asleep- bet Ruud and the coaches were fuming. -
Apart from defend? Did you expect us to go toe to toe? Mads, Vesty and Coady have done well.
