Ah, but they mostly do live in their own protected worlds though don’t they. If he was out getting mullered, or the poster who called him a “sad little pisshead” knowing LT was in his local a lot, then fair enough. Those footballers who drink drive, crash cars under the influence, fight in public etc deserve all they get and media outrage, but the personal attacks without any evidence pee me off. He knows he’s in very poor form, and it’s very likely he’s us doing all he can to improve. If we do have a better option, than he must be dropped,
-
So you see, you’ll now speculating on what the posters might ( or might not know ) unless you actually know about LT yourself! Back in my favourite era, Wortho et al were seen in the Horsefair downing pints , Bestie was a big drinker etc but it was all normal. If some of you have first hand knowledge, then please spill the beans!

Sorry if I’ve missed something in this thread but how do you and some other other posters on here, know about his private life and personality? Stop being mean and simply focus on his poor footballing skills as you see them. I want him to do well, but he has been mostly poor for a long time. However, the coaching staff see things we don’t which make them believe he is first choice at the moment. In fact , our treasured Matt Elliot said on match comms a few games ago ( it wasn’t Derby) how good LT is, when we all thought on FT he’d had a crap game.

Stupid me, turned back on. Just seen Thomas header.
-
I’ve not turned it back on- any improvement?
-
I just wish him the best of luck. I always dreaded us playing against whu when he was in their squad. If he can give us something different for this season as an impact sub, score a few and take the pressure off Abdul and Stephi, that’s fine by me. Give him a chance.

But why lucky? Both poor sides - our better players finally showed their better quality in the last 20 minutes? That’s not luck. -

Why lucky? They were rubbish. Their goal came from our mistake. Our 2 goals came from exerted pressure , plus Abdul missed a sitter. -
Where’s the voting thread? I enjoy doing it, as depressing as it is at the moment. I think Ben Nelson deserves credit for a good performance, after his shaky showing at Huddersfield
-
I didn’t think they were. I was expecting them to be better for their 2nd league position. I think the Okoli chance was the best scoring opportunity for either team . Any sort of contact that’s probably in, and with the pen we’d have been 2-0 at half time. I could have seen us clinging on 2nd half for a win. Underserved for our lack of ambition but it might have built some confidence. Now the late equaliser makes it feel like a defeat.
-
So you don’t think he put 2 great balls into the box 1 st half, one of which Okoli should have scored? He did alright tonight- glad for him and let’s just give him a bit of credit
-
It’s weird- we thought a couple of games ago he’d found some passion and was putting in the effort, but he’s reverted back to old self again hasn’t he. That shot from the corner in the 2nd half was abysmal.

Leicester 0-2 Blackburn POST MATCH THREAD
old koppite replied to Muzzy_no7's topic in Leicester City Forum
He’s not a one trick pony. He will add more to his game, and will over time calm down as he matures. Such a shame that some of us want to moan about him. He’ll get fed up with us and move onto to bigger and better things. I for one will still get excited when he rips opposition defenders apart . -
Leicester 0-2 Blackburn POST MATCH THREAD

A one trick pony - get a grip! Have you missed his skill and tricks that gets him past 2 players with ease at times! Even today, having a poor game, he still managed to do that lovely bit of skill where he knocks it with his right foot with just enough to out pace the defender and he has the pace to get to it. As the Leicester comms said, the Blackburn players knew what he was going to do but still could not stop him. We were crying 2 months ago that he was off to Everton. Just enjoy him while we can. All he needs is a good coach- have we got one? -
Oh, please please don’t sell
-
Cracking young player, he’s just trying too hard. A good coach would spend as much 1 to 1 time as necessary to convince him that he doesn’t always need to take players on , or after cutting inside try to score a screamer .

Apart from Abdul and James we have no spark -
Why? He’s a midfielder- what evidence have we seen of consistent performances from our midfielders ( apart from James, but he was absent second half )?
-
Anyone given him credit for that crucial reaction save first half- without it we’d have been 3 down
-
The famous long throw which isn’t really 🤔
