C'mon, do you really think Scott parker would come to us? I can guarantee you the names listed you wouldn't get a good reaction either from the fans base on here. I am not over the moon with the appointment, but I don't think its as bad as some people are making out. He is young, has a massive point to prove after his short spell at Rangers (hopefully he has learnt a fair bit) he has clear identity, wants an "all in" attitude or you won't play - we have let standards slip massively over the last two years since Maresca, he will hopefully bring this culture back. He is clearly a good man manager, would get the youth playing and on side also. I might be wrong, but in typical Foxestalk fashion, there might be a few people with egg on their face come the end of the season

I’m still so torn, part of me wants him nowhere near the club with this pep style of football we insist on, which might not work in league 1 with the right players. Other part of me thinks we are punching with this appointment. Like it or not we are league 1 crop, he has taken a club from the championship to the premier league. Decent ish spell at Swansea as well. His level is mid-high championship IMO. I have come to the conclusion I will give him a chance and give him the first 10 games of the season.
