Mavididi is winding me up big time at the minute. I’d like to see him out of the side for a few games. He needs a rocket up him because his level has dropped massively.

Enzo needs to start showing Mavididi that he isn’t undroppable. He’s absolutely stunk the **** out in this 2nd half.

Middlesbrough are a team who like to play and we aren’t currently getting enough of a press from Vardy and Iheanacho. Neither of those 2 have been playing at a consistent level and it would be good for Daka to get a chance if Cannon isn’t ready yet.

It’s becoming clear that Petty needs to move on. Player development is clearly the number 1 goal but the U23/U21 record underneath him is quite clearly not good enough and constant poor results has a detrimental impact on development as losing can become habitual.

We’re 1st and did that by breaking the record start in a Championship season and were double figures off 3rd? We’ve scored 2nd most goals in the league and we’ve conceded the fewest goals. Nothing’s perfect but we haven’t been far off before the Leeds game, if we stay consistent with these performance levels we’re promoted sharpish.

We look like we interested in signing players that are raw and can be coached to a level they could potentially reach. Makes sense given Enzo’s beliefs and profile as a manager.

A lot of professional players that reach the very top are self centred and have to be to get their career to that level but Danny quite simply is not the full quid.

I wish people would bore off about Hamza. James McClean has never been banned for refusing to wear a poppy which can be seen as an offensive, political statement - in my mind Hamza hasn’t said or done anything to incite violence or prejudice and people need to stop being so busy about it.

You’re right the rule is if a shirt pull starts outside the box but carries on inside, the ref (who was a clown last night) should have awarded a pen.

Although the shirt pull started outside the rules of football meant it still should have been a penalty. ”If a defender starts holding an attacker outside the penalty area and continues holding inside the penalty area, the referee must award a penalty kick.

He’ll rotate in for Mavididi when he’s ready to step up. Our wingers are encouraged to attack their opposing full back and be creative around the box, he’s made for the role.

It will be interesting to see how our MP’s respond to the threat of legal action for “being complicit in Gaza war crimes”.
