At Notts Forest he had shit players and relied on basically togetherness and hard work solely to get them through. In my opinion our dressing room maybe thinks they're a bit above relying purely on that and want to play with a bit more quality.
Ultimately comes back to it being a really shit appointment.
Off topic really but he can attend all the meetings he wants with the fans but if he's not playing our best players he's never going to build any rapport.
Just what we need, a few more years of consulting and a few more surveys. Reckon it'll be close to 20 years of people lobbying before they ever do it and even then it'll be the bare minimum.
Consistent with their "kick the can down the road as long as possible" approach. The club don't want it because it doesn't cater to their desired customer base. Eventually though the SGSA will take the decision out of their hands.
Simply have to win points, there are no excuses.
No doubt we'll hear the same "we're still bonding as a team, we have new players and a new manager" excuses at the end of this run of 4 games when 20% of the season has gone though.
Yeah I get there late in the evening and then we head to the venue the next afternoon for the weekend, so I only get a morning in the actual town. Might take my trainers and take a run round in the morning and try and see as much as I can. Looks a beautiful place.
