At Notts Forest he had shit players and relied on basically togetherness and hard work solely to get them through. In my opinion our dressing room maybe thinks they're a bit above relying purely on that and want to play with a bit more quality. Ultimately comes back to it being a really shit appointment.

Yeah I get there late in the evening and then we head to the venue the next afternoon for the weekend, so I only get a morning in the actual town. Might take my trainers and take a run round in the morning and try and see as much as I can. Looks a beautiful place.

I can think of two bad mistakes in 2 or 3 seasons. OP asked for a "steady" keeper, I'm not saying he was a world beater.

He was upper mid level Championship, exactly what we were at the time.
