I get that certain styles will suit certain players but there's a basic level of ability you expect from a professional footballer, like kicking the ball, running with the ball without falling over etc. Whether we're playing a counter attack or possession based style has no impact on that one iota.

I'm sorry but attitudes like this is exactly why the club and huge sections of the support have zero standards. If we go down by a point or on GD of course you're going to look at very obvious moment in the season when we dropped easy points. Yesterday is a huge example of that. It's the culmination of these huge moments that apparently are inconsequential that have left us in this situation. It's elite level sport, it largely hinges on big moments going your way or not.
