I was thinking about this on the way home last night. Most of the squad weren't involved in any former glories. The highlight for most has been winning the Championship last time round, because they came in after or were on the bench when we were good. Only exception is Ricardo. So they're as successful here as the likes of Dean Hammond and GTF, but below them because those two never got relegated here. That's the level the majority are now at.

He did alright until the first booking but I was disappointed at how slow he looked. Was comfortably slower than Azaz who I don't believe is exactly known for pace.

The first 10 minutes of last night reminded me of when 5 year olds play football. Lots of enthusiasm but zero co ordination. How is it possible to take 1000 fans and still sing three songs at the same time. Also shout out to the pocket of Southampton fans to the right of the away end at the back of the Chapel stand. Some of the most bizarre non league level "banter" I've ever heard. "You're not allowed near schools" and "Champions of the library, you'll never sing that" being the pick of the bunch.

It's truly over for us until King Power leave. The longer they stay the more damage they do.
