Don’t know if any of our young keepers are that highly rated, and if Bausor is, he will need minimum a loan spell somewhere lower down the pyramid, being a keeper is very different to an outfield player and it does take more of a transition
-
Apparently was close to signing for a Bosnian team so don’t imagine the wages are insane, also was at QPR not long ago and decent in this league, if it means we don’t spend on a GK if we sell Hermansen and roll with Stolarczyk it makes a lot of sense
-
DCL would be a great signing in the championship, would at the very least be a focal point, he will end up in a foreign top division
-
Should be starting next year, was a key cog in Sheffield uniteds defense that they never replaced when he got hurt last year. Him and Nelson, Okoli in the mix as well and then find someone cheap and young to be our 4th choice

Stephy Mavididi (no real rumour, some clubs "interested.")

He was unfortunate, signed for extortionate money and as adaptable as he was he was stuck behind Vardy and then Maddison/Tielemans further back. He was absolute crap out wide for the most part, maybe our most baffling signing of all time -

Lookman was definitely good enough for a £12m release clause or whatever it was, considering how light we were out wide and the fact we signed Perez for £40m -
Up until this point, not positively for me, but if he is able to turn things around and implement changes at the top level he could still end up being thought of fondly
-
If it’s for a million, we do need back up for BEK and we would almost definitely make a profit so I don’t hate it, better than signing has been 30+’s
-
Know it won’t ever happen, but hypothetically could we hire and buy out Rohl and make him a ‘coach’ and then sack off RVN and internally promote him after the July PSR deadline?
-
Think he brought a club in disrepair together and gave them a goal that they pushed towards, like Nige
-
Danny Rohl would for me, work he’s done with literally less than nothing for Wednesday has been unbelievable, having that side around playoffs is miraculous and I will bet he is a success in his next move, reminds me of Pearson in the way he can bring a group together
-
Arguably our best centre back this year, which isn’t saying much but if I had a choice between him, Faes and Vestegaard to keep I’m keeping him all day. Faes and Vestegaard should be moveable to Europe if we are willing to swallow pride and except lower figures for them

Same as what others have said, if it can play a part in funding us signing an actual striker, a new manager and a new spine do it. We have so many decent wingers at this point, can replace him with McAteer, Alves and Monga on that side, none are any close to as good rn but if we need the cash -
Reason I still think we end up near the top this year, think everyone on that list starts for a lot of playoff chasing teams, we can be bang average around those and we will still compete. Look at Sheffield United last season, genuinely crap except for 3/4 (Cooper, Ahmedodzic, Hamer, Burrows)
-
We are ran awfully but credit where it is due, turning a profit on a coach we hired less than a year ago is good business… more of that and we might crawl out of this hole we’ve trapped ourselves in
-
Compensation in plus less to pay off if we want to clear house for the new manager, the GK coach is meant to have some interest too. Use the comp to sack Ruud
-
Would be shocked if at 40 he left London to be a backup in Leicester. Think he stays in London for sure, maybe a backup at Brentford or Fulham or starting for QPR/Watford etc
-
Really did think that if we ever were going to move on from him it would be this preseason, felt a safe bet he would be moved within King Power. Even if we did just get someone in to handle the senior side of things and left him the youth stuff. Think we may be stuck with him and the man child indefinitely
-
If we can get back up fairly quickly with Nelson and Monga/Evans around the team that would be enough pure profit to fund an alright Prem side, if we aren’t super Leicester about it all and spunk it on shite
-
Think he’d do best as a wingback in a 3 at the back formation, never seems to tire and is big enough to hold his own
-
I don’t disagree entirely but I do think winning a full premier league season is extremely difficult, especially with a squad that doesn’t really have any experience of doing so. Think the first is the toughest, could see him leaving but could see him winning 2/3 over the next ten years. Think he does need to move on from some of the principles that he has, at least a little, and show some adaptability if he wants to last
-
Can’t speak for everyone but for me, I don’t know that I’ll ever give up my season tickets. Reason being, I have gone since I was 12, and since 15 with my mates. I’m now around 30, and life has moved on to the point I would barely ever see those mates because of work and general life obligations, but the footy is always going to be a reason for us to meet up, have a drink and spend a day together. People have reasons to go back and it doesn’t mean that they approve of the club or the way it is running in any way. For me, I simply care for my mates more than I care about taking 400 quid out of a multi-billionaires pocket, that will likely be replaced by someone else who wants the seat

Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official
LCFCCKEANO replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
Think he would have to be paid in this accounting period, but I genuinely think you might be right with the holiday stuff. I don’t remember the last time we made a big, boardroom level move in the late May-Early to Mid June period, maybe recency bias and someone can prove me wrong 🤷🏻♂️ -
Would it not make more sense to sack him now and just sell someone in this period to offset it that may go for a couple million more in a month to let our manager have time to work out the squad and what he wants before pre season. Have a lot of players who will probably leave, one of- Soumare, Ndidi, Coady, Winks(?), Choudhury, VK, Reid could all contribute
-
Was a big part of the last promotion, and can do a back 3 or back 4 comfortably and will do ok in the championship. Can shift some other big wages and live with him until next World Cup, if Denmark overperform there will be some mugs somewhere who would take him
