If we draw, Glamorgan win and Derbyshire don’t, I’d say that pretty much seals our promotion. We’d be on 193 as things stand, losing 50 points in 3 games is very unlikely. We’d need to lose every game and Derbyshire or someone else win every game. So it seems like what’s to play for is the title against Glamorgan! Exciting times! If Glamorgan eventually overtake us, this is not a disappointment, we just need promotion.

It’s funny, I’ve watched the stream the last hour and Rehan has bowled a lot better and more consistently than last week yet has had little luck. Big wicket though. Puts us just on top I think.

Apart from first game of the season, there’s been high scores at Canterbury all season. This pitch is very dry though so hopefully Rehan can work his magic against young batters. Can imagine Holland will get a lot out of this too.

It’s interesting because in those two games, we were far superior to Ipswich and Southampton at the end of the season. Southampton game especially we could’ve won by 4 or 5 if we put our foot down
