Laughing stock would be finishing bottom of the group, not being a couple of wins from qualifying. Over the past couple of years we’ve transformed into one of the better white ball counties and are sitting at the top of the second division. As long as we get promoted, I do not care about the t20, and now we have our best player back (Holland) and Hull and Scriven fit again, I have confidence that we’ll get the job done. People have short memories, we were a laughing stock for over a decade, now we’re a serious county again. We’ve had two of our academy players making England test debuts before the age of 21, do you know how mental that would’ve sounded a few years back? As for Jarvis, he has not managed the club financially as well as he could do and it’ll be important to get some fresh impetus but it would be stupid to overlook the onfield progress that has been made. One disappointing, but not disastrous, t20 campaign doesn’t change that. Get behind the lads ffs.

Ricardo obviously. About the only player in the club over the past few years with a good attitude. If Thomas keeps up his form of the end of last season, he should be considered for when Ricardo is not fit. There was a maturity we saw which hadn’t been there before.
