When we won at Wembley in the play offs twice I was ecstatic, especially beating Derby. When we went to three League cup finals and won two of them, I was over the moon. When we won the League I could not believe it, that day was special, that entire season was a dream. Still remember saying after winning the league, I'd love to see us winning the FA cup, it would be unbelievable. Then we won it and the Community shield. All in my lifetime, supporting the club.

Inevitable? not how I look at it. Russia is struggling with a war they can't win or seemingly pull out of currently, Putin has to go via death by old age or accident it seems for it to end. Would they then get involved in a war with NATO which would inevitably lead to a minor nuclear exchange and then either go full on apocalypse or end in a stalemate with no one benefitting? Would the British army want to swell it's ranks with people unfit and not wanting to fight, and not enough equipment or ammunition, the navy not having anywhere near enough ships nor the air force having enough aircraft for such a war? At my age, I know I'd never get around the assault course at HMS Raleigh never get over that bloody wall and my knee, ankles or back would go.

If they were to do this and we fall away, two seasons of pure mismanagement to me would mean Top has to go and I never thought I'd say that.

More likely he was tempted until Maresca contacted him and asked him what the Ruddy hell was going on at which point he said, do not worry old chap, it would take another ten million to sell him from under you

If this were to happen, I'd lose faith in the club and that's not hyperbole.

Finally finished Picard S3. I do not really have a lot of feeling for modern Trek but this was basically a 9 hour STTNG movie full of nostalgia, fun and a couple of stand out new characters. Was surprised at just how many Easter eggs and old characters were there. 9/10 The end credits were really well done too.

Well, apart from the Cov game where the red card played a part, not too bad thus far, once AFCON is done and Fatawu is back from suspension can see us trundling along quite happily. We could use some additional players during this window but cant see much happening and then the big question, if promotion does happen, what will the club spend and who will go.

Nice little video on 2010, when I watched it over the weekend, only then did I realise Arthur C Clarke appears in the movie feeding birds in front of the White house.

Lets face it, it is not a community club anymore, to be honest, I do not know exactly what they are trying to be these days, communication really is not all that great. I get peeps asking me at times questions about the club because I'm a ST holder and I have to shrug my shoulders.

Just watching Hombre on Talking Pictures ch.82 on Freeview Later I'm gonna watch 2010 with Pizza.

Then a lot of peeps will spend their money elsewhere.

Not annoyed, just letting peeps know their was an accident on the Saffron Lane this morning down by the athletics stadium crossing, little old lady on a mobility scooter and it was still closed off as I got back from town.

Should have general sale and be able to roll up to the club shop/ticket office to buy tickets. I know peeps who were thinking of going to their first ever Leicester game and some who had not been for sometime, for the FA cup fixture coming up who decided not to bother when I told them how you get tickets these days.

Love my sword n sorcery movies, was mulling over what are the best or that I consider the best. Highlander for one, no sorcerer unless you count the third but it's a kinda magic you know. Conan the barbarian is another, Conan the destroyer not reaching the same heights, what is best in life? Excalibur is a strange movie, more a work of art but by God the actor who plays Merlin owns that part...

Remember watching this at the cinema, loved it, had that 70s monster movie feel. Then watched Mimic a year later at the flicks, another monster movie I enjoyed that would later be called too dark for home cinema by some. MASSIVE SPOILERS btw if you have not seen this.
