  1. We can only dream of getting someone of Dyche’s current calibre.
  2. Celtic will still win the title. They’ll sack Nancy, bring someone in till the end of season and be 6/7 points clear at the finish.
  3. Time to retire Kasper.
  4. Bang on with your stuff on Pearson and Vichai’s legacy is certainly confused with the team that he built and the money it generated for the club post title win. Drinkwater, Kante, Mahrez sales and a bit of champions league money, meant we could be sustained for a short while as we made mistake after mistake in recruitment and club building. But all that matters is that those who don’t have an understanding got free food and drink- which most likely didn’t come out of whichever owner’s pocket anyway.
  5. I think the relationship between the fans and the current owner’s Dad was significantly rewritten into an only very positive narrative (only natural) as a result of his very tragic death. He was okay, as he did some things right but also did some things wrong. This worshipping of the owner’s Dad has also been amplified because of Aiyawatt’s abysmal handling of the club in recent years. I don’t think a memorial garden was over the top for the victims but the statue may look out of place in twenty/thirty years.
  6. I mean there are lots of bits of it where you can’t see anything but there are some very scenic parts on it- it’s worth it for these bits.
  7. Done it twice. Incredibly easy course- slight incline for part one but then you turn round on yourself. Only issue is you share it with the 10k race and it becomes incredibly congested for the first mile or so - did it once with my 60+ Dad and he face planted because of the congestion. Obviously very scenic.
  8. We wouldn’t have an fa cup without Nacho, he was a good signing in the end.
  9. Went to Sonrisa tonight. Had the exact same steak order, as I’d had at Knight and Garter about a week ago. The food was better than what I’d had last week but the service was so disjointed, I’d prefer Knight and Garter. They had enough staff on and they were nice but clearly an issue with the management and lack of organisation.
  10. The King Power fans are happy for us to be second to a bunch of horses playing hockey.
  11. If he goes in January then he’ll be this generation’s Mark Davies.
  12. ‘Be careful what you wish for’ is daft in any context.
  13. It’s frustrating to hear of an incident like this. I hope Union FS keep going and continue to do banners like those they did last night. Of course there will always be those who are so indignant in their support for King Power. I believe those who are so against the calls against ownership are like this because they believe as the team is not performing as well as it has done over the last decade, discontent is solely related to performance on the pitch. I met up with two friends prior to the game, they said ‘be careful for what you wish for’, when I stated how much I hated Aiyawatt and King Power being in charge of my club. They are the definition of happy clappers and hate Union FS because they think they are hooligans etc. The future of Leicester City faces an existential threat from its current ownership. A few years ago I was laughed out the place for questioning the use of loan after loan as normal practice. I think there is a huge cash flow issue at the club and we’re going to start seeing a fire sale and asset stripping to just keep running costs there. I wouldn’t be surprised in 5/6 years if the women’s team is gone and the players are training back at Belvoir Drive because we can’t afford to run Seagrave.
  14. Yeah I was gutted we didn’t give Marco Ferreira a game.
  15. ‘Additional supply arrangements’. I would speculate that due to the dwindling attendance numbers the club is reducing the order of pies and other confectionery in concourses. However, they realised (probably at very short notice) attendance will be likely higher as versus Derby just for tonight, and removing stewards free meal meant they could ensure they could have more available for fans.
  16. I’d take Nuno, I’d also take Emery, Arteta, Guardiola, Slot and co. The club is so far gone they are just as likely. We have no money. Cifuentes is our lowest paid manager since Pearson’s first contract here.
  17. I have been going to Norwich for years because family lived nearby but only been adulting there since Covid really! If I still had untappd! There have been some great suggestions already but for female friendly stuff- the market! The sandwich shop, craft beer place there etc are great for instagram(if that’s what female friendly means) and felt unique for Norwich and other similar cities in the UK. Make sure you go to yalm(food hall)- probably best for breakfast and the newly refurbished Castle is better than I remembered it as a kid. Hopefully I don’t sound too Partridge!
  18. Was 50/50 for this game as a season ticket holder but I am happy to boycott and this has pushed me off the fence to decide that. Let’s not forget, football is really important this time of year to ensure people are keeping well- mentally. I will be in a pub during the game instead to ensure those I see at the game are keeping well still. Choose pub not king Power!
  19. I did think that initially but there’s no pain, it’s just a lack of muscle function in the foot. When I walk or run, it feels like I am not planting the foot down properly because there’s little feeling in the foot.
  20. Have a strange injury developing in my left foot. It’s like the arch of my foot has collapsed and is flat when walking and running- struggling to do things like calf raises on it. Has anyone had anything similar?
  21. I seem to do alright also with parcels- but according to statistics Leicestershire is the worst place in the country for missing parcels. I have never heard anyone mention having an issue.
  22. I remember seeing Marc Nygaard scoring a cracking goal against us in 2007, for QPR.
  23. Running really gone downhill this month with social events for Christmas and having a lurgy lingering. Looking forward to a couple of solid weeks off around Christmas to get some progress back.
  24. Welwyn Garden City is a beautiful place and I am not surprised Skipp is from there.
