  1. Yes definitely. My comment is not an endorsement of the dragging of our heels with appointing a manager.
  2. If Claudio had the whole of pre-season, we wouldn’t have won the league.
  3. Did 5 miles in Herefordshire this morning, awful weather for running. But a great feeling afterwards.
  4. Yes you’re right and I was there!
  5. Well he has never scored at Old Trafford… Apart from a 92 mind consolation.
  6. Yeah I don’t want him either.
  7. Fans would probably get behind Wilder after a bit. He speaks simply.
  8. Christ, Sunderland! No surprises though, as I watch that Forest fan doing the beer crawls occasionally and every place he goes to I think the same.
  9. As someone who is into architectural history for their career, there’s nothing like the flint work round here. Beautiful churches and there was some great Tudor buildings too.
  10. Yea it was outstanding. Has to be said everywhere I go at the moment but I am jealous of most cities pub scenes in comparison to our own.
  11. Ran from Cromer to Sheringham and back this morning, whilst listening to the new partridge podcast. Absolute peak running.
  12. We can just give Mike Stowell a call.
  13. Going to Norwich tomorrow. Looks a good city for pubs.
  14. I don’t have a good word either.
  15. Watched it with no expectations. Heartening performance from a likeable group. How refreshing.
  16. Was very enjoyable yesterday. But even with a good contingent of Sale fans, we couldn’t sell out. Quite a few empty seats. Hard to judge whether this is normal given the sporadic nature of home play off finals but Newcastle last week was a sell out. Yeah, atmosphere was very good and it’s the first time I have been tempted to go on the pitch on a final day. Fundamentally I have enjoyed watching and going to Tigers more and more over the last few years as the players seem more normal and easier to connect with than LCFC players, which seems bizarre given the public school context of many rugby players. Similar reasons why I have enjoyed non-league football too.
  17. This is it! We don’t need a pre-match experience at LCFC. I met a mate in soar point(their choice) before the Newcastle game last weekend and up to 230pm before leaving for the game, the place was bout 30% full. It’s good for Tigers if they can rinse the Market Harbs lot anyway because they need the money.
  18. From memory he scored against us at least twice!
  19. He didn’t really. Had a good career in the championship and played in the prem.
  20. Not really sure what to say. But, feel like there is a big social justice point to be made regarding this. I can’t deal with the club churning out videos of our greatest ever player connecting with the community, when they are supporting a sponsor like this.
  21. Villa complain to premier league. What about when Sheff U scored that goal that would have sent them down?
  22. Martin would probably do a better job than Ranieri in the championship. Unfortunately neither of them are Nigel Pearson.
  23. I hope Craig Shakespeare gets some recognition on Sunday.
  24. I might go home early so I get back to Stoneygate quickly.
