Had a couple in Leicester this afternoon. Very quiet. Went with my old man who is now coeliac. They had one beer he could have at Blue Boar but struggled everywhere else. Feel gutted for a man who loved cask so much.

I think two years added to his current contract would be fair- with the idea of selling him in the summer. I really like him though, his grandad was a great person for this city and comes from a proper Leicester family. But I can’t get onside with these mega deals for average players.

On my week off and to sweat all the rubbish I’ve digested, did a chilled out half marathon just over 2 hours whilst listening to big strong Leicester boys. Great way to relax.
