Well, I care if that’s the case that the club is facilitating the undermining of democracy. I’ll have more of a read, thanks!

Why is there not more media attention for this sort of thing?

What are you on about?

Jordan Ayew (interest confirmed by Percy)
westernpark replied to iancognito's topic in Transfer Talk
I’d have taken him if we’d not signed Reid but we’re struggling for players who could provide any sort of decent output in the prem, regarding G+A. -
Watched Sherwood, best series I’ve seen in a while.

Saw the new deadpool film. Didn’t enjoy it and the only good thing for me was that Victor was working behind the bar- two pints ****!

Championship 2024/2025 Season Thread

They made a big deal of trying to put distance between Dewsnip and Rooney in the press releases. -
To get a more accurate picture of King Power’s impact at Leicester city, I think it always helps to place the credit for our success on and off the pitch, onto the agency of Nigel Pearson and his staff. Regardless of Vichai but from the moment Pearson left, the club has been eroding off the pitch. Despite success, we had a manager who could manage upwards successfully and that’s what you need when there is a lack of knowledge or basic incompetence. They trusted him and that was the best thing they ever did.

I think the best centre back we have is Ben Nelson. Play him every game this season and then at least we have a decent asset to sell when we’re relegated. I’m not calling for Cooper out yet because I think he’s trying to force the board with signings. I also think he’s being very, very honest and this will put more spotlight on the failings higher up. But I’ll furious if Ricardo isn’t starting against Spurs.

Rugby Town vs Darlaston. Excellent ground for this level, believe some of Filbert Street has been incorporated into dugouts and turnstiles. Game was poor but Rugby just about turned out deserved winners.
-
The club(King Power+Rudkin) are the issue, not Cooper. I’ll get behind him and so should you.

I’m a pessimist, so I reckon you’re probably right. -

Watching him in the open training session, he’s got ability. However, Cooper saying it’s down to Alves, makes me think he won’t get much of a sniff this season. -
I suppose that’s why it would be an option.

What I’ve maybe missed, is that Miquel was appealing to a more pragmatic style of play. She said she likes her teams to get the ball forward, quicker.
-
Miquel received a huge applause when referencing that football should be an easy game, ‘why try and score in 50 passes, when it only takes 3’, to paraphrase her.

I will offer more analysis in the morning but Cooper is so keen to be accepted by the supporters. He also was happy to criticise the club(organisation in Germany and other issues). I like him.

That’ll do! Great part of the world too

You could still go to the odd game! Kettering was 15 quid last season and the season before, for an adult. Their(Blyth) season ticket prices are quite expensive though by the looks of things.

Hoillet, Bowie and a completed set of Cadden twins. At least the Hibees are making signings. Hope to make it to a couple of games this season, whilst visiting my sister who lives behind Easter Road.

I worked up until I was 24, then went to Uni as a mature student and finally have my first graduate job(done other jobs in between to keep me going), starting at the end of the month, aged 29. I also did some volunteering and work experience like yourself, this got me the job, keep going and you’ll be fine!

Just as long as you show justifiable reasons for being unemployed and demonstrate that you are trying, there is no such thing as too long. People are sympathetic.

He’ll probably want to do a lap of honour at the end of the game.
