Hopefully we get to see him in play in the Premier League under Maresca. I think he’s a decent player, but Enzo’s tactics mean that Dewsbury-Hall is arriving in the box and his stamina is being utilised late on for goals, so he’s going to get some good numbers. I don’t believe him to be more committed than the other players, as some people make out, just because he runs around a lot. Re his celebration, his best mates have left and I imagine he’s going through a personal growth stage as he’s finds his way in the changing room dynamics.

As with Pearson this guy is someone that will shape the club positively on and also off the pitch. However, as with Pearson when Maresca leaves I worry others will have more input again.

Rodger’s signed Vestegaard as a replacement for Fofana, outrageously bad recruitment! He didn’t play in the Premier League last season. He called Rodgers out for his bizarre behaviour, whilst others said everything was fine. The guy has no culpability in our relegation at all, those comparing him to Danny Ward are being ridiculous when you consider what the goalkeeper contributed last season! He’s been 7.5 out of of 10 for the season so far, although I’m not sure he has a long term future here. However, his body language and demeanour has changed already throughout this season, he’s now celebrating every goal and looked to be genuinely upset to be missing Wednesday game when he was booked. I’ll back anyone who is clearly putting in the required effort and playing above average on top of it. I was worried after the first couple of games, but he’s only got better.

So did I when I flipped the Leicester Mercury site open. It’s a dangerous area, in my lifetime is has always been very diverse and for most of it as equally safe as other parts of the city, however I believe that has changed within the last 7-8 years. I worked in a business during my teens and early twenties, genuinely fearing for my safety round there. I am very surprised that the demagogues within certain parts of the media have not cottoned to this change in the area.

Probably depends if we’ve sung about Hillsborough or poverty.

Narborough road is somewhere I’d disagree with the mayor, there are issues down there that are caused by a transient population(cannabis grows on every road and anecdotal evidence from myself that would suggest it isn’t very safe).However, that is also a result of studentification within the area. Nonetheless, the issues last year are lazy evidence, if cited by the current Home Secretary, it is a very nuanced issue that doesn’t have a basic explanation. This city is great for its diversity and multiculturalism but less of a black and white opinion on it is needed, people can disagree with various points and not be categorised as being polar opposites of each other. Unlike what Braverman is attempting to do!
