Leeds fans were average for Leeds, not much fight in the stadium to push the team on from us.
-
Fans will lose their rag even more with this guy in charge. We will do well largely but once a game is gone, he’s not going to change the formation or style to get it back.

In short I wear a red poppy, I just think less is more. We see all over the country it has been trivialised by organisations outdoing each other.
-
Please see my post further down, I will be wearing my poppy tonight! It’s just my opinion re club thing with a giant poppy. Of course it would be bizarre.
-
It’s my viewpoint. When I ponder the horrific world wars that innocent civilians died in, I like a personal, quiet moment of reflection. It feels forced that’s all. Not to say I’ve not felt the club in the last 20 years since that first remembrance fixture against Blackburn Nov 2003, have done some really good stuff for this fixture. Was always touching to see Birch on the pitch conveying his emotion whilst wearing his father’s medals. I will wear my red poppy tonight and remember those without the club’s help.

If the club planned TIFO is a poppy, can’t not say that I feel it’s inappropriate. I always feel uncomfortable when big companies use symbols like a Poppy, it feels forced and inauthentic. Remembrance day is so important but it shouldn’t be about trying to out-do each other. Less is more.

Pizza place.

They’ll go with whatever plays best I suppose.
-
Don’t get me excited, there’s been on and off a Uber eats/Deliveroo as showing as operating out of there recently.
-
Hate Birmingham, pricing probably reflects this is the biggest game in their club’s history since the last time we played them in the cup (2020?).
-
Going to Kettering game at Coalville in a week or so, is there anywhere except the ground where a decent pint prior could be got?
-
Yes they would quite clearly be but it fuels the nonsense that they spout about ‘wokeness’ , ‘free speech’ and other culture war stuff.
-
The M&S advert stuff by removing the advert, it sets an outrageous precedent that only strengthens the ammo of the demagogues from the Daily Mail and GB News.

There might have been less of an issue for Hamza if he'd done that too.
-
Ridiculous false equivalence. At the time of Zinchenko posting that, Israel had not started retaliating, they’d just been the victim of the most violent terrorist attack in their country’s history. I really wonder why footballers don’t just stay off social media. Hamza was unfairly targeted a few years back for tweets he’d made when he was 15, there’s nothing to be gained by having a presence on there.
-
The only reason they’ve got rid is because Nigel was honest enough in interviews to question the ownership, they waited for a couple of bad results and he was gone. Bad results that were likely a product of an awful injury list.
-
Seeing as though we’ve not signed anyone directly(I think) from South American since Fernando Pasquinelli(Spelling?), it’s a nice sign to see our scouting department are possibly looking in that market, albeit not forgetting failure of Aranguiz. Is he a left sided winger? -Not forgetting Laurari?
-
The issue with the Hamza tweet is because it can lead to different interpretations, is his previous liked tweets instantly support the most extreme interpretation of the phrase. I personally think he should be reprimanded by the club and that should be the end of it. He’s apologised, fine him and move on.

That’s a fair opinion but I don’t think it was an incredible amount, I’d have valued him at about 10 million then.
-
Not exciting teams necessarily but Corberan always gets the best out of his players.
-
To be fair to Schlupp for 15 million Palace have gotten their money worth.
-
That’s the thing for me, bar Cov, I’ve not felt this excited for a game all season, a result of complacency, as much as this one!
-
It could be that he views himself as a secular Muslim but yes he liked the Turkey Cafe.
-
I think he even reduced his salary when took the role, initially.
