Are you happy with things at the club right now? Happy with the owner, the board the general running of the club? Happy with the commitment from the players? If you've answered yes to any of the above, you're an idiot and you're beyond help. If you've answered no to any, how do you think we go about changing the club and removing the owner and his board? He and his board see a full stadium and it's just business as usual. What's not to understand? Do I hate LCFC? Absolutely not. Do I dislike the way the owner and his board are destroying the club? Yes Do I hate the fact many of our players don't care and don't want to be here and their performances show this? Yes If you would like to have a less childish discussion than "go and support Liverpool or Man U" then feel free to let me know your thoughts on the club right now.

Jesus wept 🤦♂️

Can he be replaced though? What guarantees do we have that any money made on player sales will be reinvested into the squad? And do we have any faith in Rudkin and the recruitment team to adequately replace any of our players? He's still young, so for me I'd keep him. If he was to have a good season like he had last time in the championship, he'd be worth more than £30m

This is why in some ways we are worse than Sheff Wed. Whilst we haven't hit the lows of the players not being paid etc (although some of these shites dont deserve paying), the major thing that Sheff Wed have over us, is their players actually care and actually want to perform for the fans. They aren't playing for the stupid owner, they are playing for their fans and whilst they will most likely struggle this season, their fans will be able to take pride in their players attitude and fight. When people say things like we've been in worse positions and we should be grateful etc, it's all relative to the club at the particular time. I could accept being in league 1 or struggling in the championship if the clubs finances meant we had no other choice, but for us to be sitting with this squad that cost 100s of millions in transfers and wages, to be putting in performances like the preston game is utterly disgusting. I can accept a win, a loss or a draw so long as the players give their all but I can't get behind any player who won't give the basics of 100% effort. Regardless of whether they are unhappy or want to leave, whilst they are getting paid obscene amounts of money (some are the highest paid in this league and higher than some in the prem), the very least they can do is actually try. Makes me sick!

Yep must be utterly wretched for them earning all that money, spending most of the week at a luxury spa and then having a tit about on a Saturday. Horrible stuff.

Choosing who you would rather win out of Leeds and Everton is like being asked if you'd rather shag your Mum or your Gran.
-
Even dyno-rod couldn't deal with the Premier leagues unflushable turd that is Everton. Utterly stank the league out for years with their anti football.
-
Are you talking about Reid? He's never played for Burnley
-
Don't sell Fatawu Abdul Fatawu He just don't like Sunderland.
-
Staying as we are surely can't be an option, the whole club is toxic. The players, the fans everything. Even just a few changes like a competent dof could make a difference
-
I get what you're saying because of how much Top would want but we have some of the best facilities in the country. We do still have some value in the squad with Bilal and Fatawu plus some of the young lads but I know what you mean, it's a massive investment for someone and they probably wouldnt see any rewards anytime soon. Ideal situation would be for Top to wake up, sack his board and attempt to rebuild the club from scratch again. Problem is, I doubt he would either want to or have the know how to be able to do this. We also don't know the state of his own finances with all the turmoil with KP.

I didn't say I watch other teams. I said that I would like to take my kids to watch leicester at some point but I won't give my money to the club the way it is now and I said I may consider getting taking them to watch non league. My kids are only 4 and 7 so haven't been to any football games yet. It's not about checking in or out when things go well/bad, you're assuming I've only supported leicester during good times which isn't true. I've been to games since my dad first took me in 1997. Other than covid I've been to games every single season up until last season when for varying reasons, I'm just not enjoying it anymore. I've watched prem, champs league, europa league, championship, league 1, I've seen it all. Of course I want the club to be successful and ideally be in the prem but it doesn't overly bother me what league we are in. I actually really enjoyed our league 1 season and went to many games as the tickets were easier to buy back then. The main thing for me is a club and a team I can be proud of and get behind, regardless of results/success/league etc. We just don't have that and we won't until changes are made. I fully accept that my original post came across badly and as I've said earlier, probably shouldn't have posted it late at night after a few beers. I do however stand by my points that the club needs to change and the fans can help with that. I also stand by my point that I won't give any of my hard earned money to this owner or board. If that makes me a bad fan then that's fine, I can take that.
-
Yeh 100% and I've accepted that I probably shouldn't have posted late at night after a few beers. May have approached it differently and worded it differently had I done it the following morning.
-
We're all entitled to our views and opinions, that's what the forum is for. On reflection, the tone of my post should have been different but I stand by my points. The club needs change and us as fans can try and force that change, that's ultimately the the point I was making. Again my opinion, not saying I'm right. I've quite enjoyed some of the responses and comments from both sides, but i just don't understand why some people get personal. I'm not arsed, I expected it when I posted what was always going to be a controversial post.
-
It's all good, I expected it when i started such a controversial post. Possibly shouldn't have posted it late at night when I'd had several beers and maybe could have worded it a little differently, maybe having the post as a questions rather than a statement.
-
Seems quite unpopular from some of the abuse I've been getting. I'm not welcome on this forum or at the stadium apparently 🤣. Who'd have thought having an opinion on a fans forum could trigger some people so badly 🤣.
-
Not really, smaller clubs like Birmingham and Wrexham have ended up with wealthy owners. I think we would still be an attractive proposition to anyone who's looking at investing in a football club.
-
I'm glad some people on here have understood my post. It was never meant to be a dick measuring contest of who is the best fan, I don't think I'm better than anyone else or a bigger fan/supporter than anyone else, I was just trying to make people see that "supporting the club" isn't always supporting the club. There are many like you and myself that understand this concept but unfortunately most don't and have a blind loyalty to LCFC because they can't see that LCFC has become KPFC. Some still back the owners and many don't and want change but yet can't understand that the only way the board and the owner will start to take notice is by a drop in attendance and merch sales etc. Can we force Top to sell? No Can we make him consider selling because the clubs losing money through ticket sales/merch sales etc and embarrass him and his board by having a half empty stadium? Absolutely, but it would take 1000s of people to be on board and judging by many of the comments on here, that will never happen. I
-
We need new owners and a new board. The only way this will happen is by a big drop in attendances and merch sales. As I keep saying, so long a people buy stuff and continue to turn up to every game, its business as usual for Top and co and nothing changes.
-
You just either haven't read my post properly or you just don't get it so let's just agree to disagree, ill not reply to you and you don't reply to me anymore. Ps, you can block me if you find my posts so offensive 👍
-
No I get it I do, and I know my post has come across as I'm slating all the fans, I'm not at all. I just want to see change at the club and feel is as fans can try to push for that if enough people show their discontent. As long as the stadium is full, most are clapping/cheering and people are buying merch from the shop, it's just business as usual for Top and co. The only time they will actually take notice is if the stadium numbers drop drastically and merch sales etc drop drastically.
-
The forum is here for people to have opinions. Why should I leave the forum because you don't agree with me? By all means come back at me with your views and opinions and we can chat, but don't tell me who I can and can't support and which forums I can and can't go on. For the record, I do support LCFC, I just don't support KPFC and won't give a penny of my money to this useless owner and board. I hope one day that I can get back to going to games again but it won't happen until there is huge change at the club. That's my choice, as it is yours to attend games, if you do. My post was just another way of saying the fans need to try and do more to reset the club and that won't happen whilst the owner and his board think everything is OK because only a small section of the fanbase have shown discontent.
-
Fair play to him for saying how he feels but most fans are just sick to death of most of these players now. We can all accept losing but I won't accept players not giving 100% and it's clear to see some of them aren't. I don't include Abdul in that though.
-
You asked a question, I gave an answer. Not really sure what else you wanted or why you'd reply in such a childish way.
-
You're right, football in its current guise probably isn't for me and have other ways of spending my time and money now. I would one day like to get back to watching Leicester again but the bit where you said "have a crack at supporting them", they don't deserve mine or anybodys support. This club isn't LCFC anymore, and it won't be until Top sells up. The club is completely unrecognisable and the players couldn't care less so until that changes, neither do I. I've supported Leicester for nearly 30 years and this hurts, I want to be able to take my kids to watch games but I won't give any of my hard earned money to these people. It's not about being a glory supporter or expecting too much, I couldn't even care what league we are in etc, I just want a club that I can be proud of, and right now I haven't got that, so like you said, I Will stay at home.
