Regardless of weather Tielemans is good or bad, Maddison is here until his contract is finished unless somebody pays us silly money. He'll be here next season and if that means his moral is gone, it won't bother Leicester.

In the same way Tielemans was leaving last summer. We have an issue of pricing players out of a move and are comfortable allowing players to run down their contracts. It'll be no different for Maddison and he doesn't strike me as somebody who would force a move.

We have 10 players out of contract in the summer. Does anybody know how much that will be of the wages? Got to be closer to 1 mil a week saved. Obviously we'll bring more in but this surely is the perfect time not to throw stupid wages about and start again.

I wouldn't bother trying, I gave up a long time a go. Just like the Forfana deal I imagine it'll be something like 20 up front with 10 in add ons and we did get Faes with the money but people forget that too.

I know he's probably not first team ready but would love Djed Spence. With Castange able to play both full back positions I think he could play where he's best and turn out decent. Would also love Van De Beek as a Tielemans replacement. Not quite like for like but a run of games and I think he'd be a solid player for us.

Similar to when Hugh helped with Morgan becoming a better defender, Amarty is looking much more composed. Doesn't seem to be making silly tackles or passing it around the box or under hitting his passes. On another note, won't be long before he's linked away.

I hate to be pessimistic but to me this seems like an attempt of a complete burial for Soyuncu by Rogers.

Gotta be. For a similar ish price you could get Sarr and for less Lookman, albeit we had issues at the start of the window. But then, if you're gonna go full smokescreen, would you really go for the backup of your original target who has worse stats than Demari Gray and Under who played less, who costs quoted 20m. I need to know what goes on up in that office because this isn't even a stop gap until next summer.

The misery in these groups/threads is unreal. If he comes, give the guy a chance. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't. 99% of transfers are totally unknown. 1% like Bertrand you just know. Sorloth for example, who expected that? Who expected Forfana at 19 to adapt to the premier league so quickly? People say well Shalke are near the bottom and he doesn't play, if he played could it be different? I for one will be happy to give him a chance and make my opinion after a run in the side if we sign him.
