Used to put my LCFC shirt on on a match day and it felt like armour, it felt like I/we were indestructible. People would recognise the top/badge/club as "That team that did the impossible" Respect! I used to hope I didn't need to wear a coat so I could walk around and be proud to be part of who we were. I now seem to wear it with shame and embarrassment. I feel weak! I feel pathetic! I used to walk, upright, with my shoulders back with my head held high, strong and a determination in my steps and have a confidence to have eye contact with opposing fans as we made our way to home and thro towns to away grounds, feeling the respect they had to give us because we were Leicester City. I felt a dominance wearing my shirt and heading into the KP, once a fortress. Now, It means nothing! I put the shirt on and wonder, should I just put my blue one on, instead of the pink away one I now have, as it's less obvious I'm an LCFC fan. I put my coat on top and just go through the motions of going to a footie match like I was going to a wake.. It's pretty much silence in the car with zero excitement or a buzz that we used to get. I walk with my head looking at the ground avoiding eye contact with opposing fans because you just feel they are laughing at us because as much as they loved our story, they are now seeing the downfall of what they see as a club that tried to cheat the system and take joy in seeing us in this monumental fall from grace. They don't even see half of what it's feeling like because my walk and my slumped shoulders are also bearing the burden of the failure of those at the top and on the inside of my club. The heaviness hurts like hell! As I've mentioned before, you literally cannot have a seat closer to the away fans than the ones I and my son have in Block P. I'm actually pretty thankful the last few games have had a good few rows of empty seats in the away support block because I'm ashamed and embarrassed to have any sort of interaction, or even look them in the face, even to a point that, instead of fronting it out full on with the opposition with loud boastful songs and chants like I used to, looking and standing square on to them, I am now too downbeat, dissolutioned and shamed by what we have become and it's hard to see/and hear the, lets be honest, truthful sh*t, they throw at us. I'm dreading anyone actually bringing a full away support as I've nothing to give back anymore. I just feel numb and to think next season we are going to have seasoned League 1 and promoted League 2 teams' fans actually and legitimately taking the absolute piss out of what we have become. Then I'll probably trudge back to the car thinking the same as I do now..... Just how has it actually come to this?

Yep, had the same in front of us yesterday. Even my VERY placid and shy lad wanted to punch him. Block WU row 20 seats around 98-103. Group of lads, 1 in particular being a gobby twat who thought he knew it all and every second word being C**t If you are on here then there is a reason the 4 people in front of you didn't reappear for the 2nd half, the female of them looking very uncomfortable and nervy around you and your gob. I'm all for vocal stuff going on to reflect the play and/or players and we are entitled to be knob-heads at times but he abused that privilege to the extreme and just embarrassed himself and others with him for 90 mins.

Wait till it's on our first team shirts next year the way things are going.

Imagine being Ben Marshall, I'd have this picture blown up and on my wall just so people could see that I had the absolute honour of being in the same team and on the same bench as the huge English legend that is........Jamie Vardy.

Who is it behind NP's head and is that (I'm sure it is) Paul Konchesky next to DD?

That did get me thinking and knew it was longer but I was so engrossed in the picture and how it took my mind back to days when things were so much happier I just didn't give it that much relevance. Maybe I should've worded my post better but I'm sure you can see my point. I've NEVER been so sad and disillusioned with my club as I am now and when I see JV, DD, NP and even HK (God, if only we knew and saw what we obviously missed) and even seeing CL sitting there just reminds me of such happier days.

Says 10 years ago today for me but upon reflection to those days and where we are now it still saddens me on multiple levels.....

Ok, So I had the e-mail too and I'm beyond angry about it.. Can someone please tell me, with all these date restrictions, how I go about cancelling it if we are relegated but not if we manage to stay up? We are FAR from plastic fans but my son is completely disillusioned with everything Championship LCFC but hangs on in there and supports us thro these testing times, but he will be completely broken with League 1 LCFC football so I'm not going to waste £600 for our ST's for him to be utterly disinterested as he discovers with his age what a sh*tshow our club has become. If we stay up then all is not lost and we will pay (Begrudgingly) but there is no way we can justify this £ they are asking for as we become further distanced, demoralised and far removed from the club I've supported for 40+ years and him since he was 7 (10 years)

I wonder ......or do I?......if this is a direct action due to the amount of fans calling both clubs and showing their discontent at the shambles LCFC have become when it comes to ticketing and fan engagement. Although I'm sorted for this game I seriously hope common sense prevails here and every fan who can and wants to attend be allowed to get a ticket. God knows we need to get behind the team for this one and, as I've always found, when tickets get down to members the atmospheres are the best.

100% agree but I just can't understand why? What is, if any, the logic behind doing what they are doing? Why wouldn't any club want the biggest away support they could take, especially in the predicament we are in? I just don't get it! Could someone PLEASE just make it make sense? It's almost like we are actively trying to get ourselves relegated.

I'd be forever in debt to him but I'm not sure I could take the taste of that huge slice of humble pie I'd have to swallow.

My son posed a conundrum about this kinda thing yesterday…… He asked, what if we needed a win in our last game to secure our survival and Ayew stepped up and got that vital goal that did it? What would peoples view of Ayew be should he do this? Personified as a legendary hero or still hated and despised as he currently is? I genuinely couldn’t answer him.

Edited to delete my original post as might be an older FB Reels link about JV than I initially thought. It was JV being asked if Rudkin was the problem at LCFC to which he replied... "I can neither confirm or deny this" Thought it was very recent but it might be a few weeks old and common knowledge now.

The "youngsters" beat Arsenal U21 1-5 last night. Apparently they were brilliant!

After today especially, I'm considering moving my season ticket too. Harborough Town seems to be the favourite at the moment.

Was listening to Pipes and OPA on RL on the way home. Interesting to hear Rowetts' last comments during his post match interview.... "I need to start to looking at players I can trust" Maybe he's finally seen what we have been watching all season. HAS to start with Ayew, he needs dropping from the whole squad and binning for good! I NEVER want to see that useless, lazy POS in a Leicester shirt again!
