  1. Cheers for that The Bear, It's becoming a bit of a minefield out there. Keep telling myself that the best quality today will soon be surpassed by tomorrows tech but I'm slowly wading thro the acronyms of the TV's I've narrowed it down to. HDR10+ is a new one on me which I'm looking into.
  2. Scumbag on their forum..... Is that what the Pilot was trying to do?
  3. Yeah, I can imagine that. I knew we were massive the first time I saw fake Vardy LCFC tops in Hong Kong market stalls.
  4. Probably all designed, structured and timed to quell the possibility of any sort of fan antagonistic rivalry and atmosphere. Cynical old me!
  5. Yeah, please don't let us become a Liverpool.
  6. He lost me at "I know a lot of people" No you don't!
  7. I reckon I'm very qualified to speak about this. I work in aviation and am usually in a different part of the globe week in week out and I can honestly say masses more people around the world know of, and still want to talk about Leicester City thanks solely to our Prem story and win. It literally gripped the World! I had an LCFC sticker on my suitcase during our title winning season and I can't tell you the amount of times people in airport terminals, hotel workers, baggage handlers, other airline staff would come up to me and say how much they were following our team and story and hoped we would do it. It was phenomenal wherever I went. The Americans were the most engrossed but it literally was everywhere and every trip. As soon as anyone saw the sticker they recognised it, read it and knew instantly who we are/were. Now, they still remember us. Even now, whenever I get asked where I'm from with my English accent and I say I'm from Leicester(shire) I can guarantee 9 out of 10 people say something about our team and our story and how incredible it all was and how they were rooting for us to do it, even in Dallas 2 weeks ago I spoke to a bar manager and waitress in a bar who knew about us. It's a great feeling tbh! I was chatting to a Virgin Atlantic First Officer in San Fransisco airport about it at the time and he was really hoping we'd do it as a Manu U fan until his "up his own arse" Captain said "Oh, it's a rather new sticker isn't it?" as if I was a glory hunter fan, until I rolled up my sleeve and said, "Yeah, but the tattoo (LCFC badge) is 40 years old mate" Shut the twat up! Anyway, I can guarantee very few of all those people around the globe who spoke to me and know our story would know who Nottingham Forest are.
  8. Slightly Off topic but still kinda related. I'm in the market for a new (BIG) TV. Went to decide between the 98" Samsung 90D and the 85" Samsung 900D, Both NEO QLED with the latter being the Samsung signature TV for 2024 which upscales 4k to 8k. Wasn't overly impressed with the 90D but it could be just what they were showing on the screen and was maybe a little too big afterall. But having a look around at other TV's I could not stop noticing LG OLED screens and their vivid deep colours and sharp blacks and having been given differing opinions from 2 different store assistants it's now thrown a spanner in the works as to what I thought I had decided on. One store guy told me the Samsung QLED was the best natural looking picture you could get right now but another said the LG OLED was much better due to its rich vivid colours and picture. Both TV's were showing different looped videos so it was confusing on how to decide the differences. I know I'm bound to get the differing views as above on a forum such as this but what are peoples thoughts on QLED v OLED or Samsung v LG? Not for gaming but general TV watching/sport. Cheers
  9. This isn’t ordinary food. This is Leicester City food
  10. What is this Toms Yung Kum? I'm not sure I'm liking the sound of this?
  11. I think it's only in our fairly recent years of successes, since our Prem win, FA Cup win, Community Shield win, top 5 placings and CL participation times they decided they didn't care about us as it must have been so demoralising and galling for them to see us being how we were that it was just the easy option to say we don't matter to them....We all know it was through gritted teeth. Believe me, they hate us! It's too historical for them not to.
  12. Whether either side see each other as rivals and/or have hatred between us or not, there is always an extra edginess to this fixture and being as close to their fans as you can get I'm expecting the atmosphere and confrontation to have extra spice tomorrow night. Forest in the Prem at our place on a Friday night? These are the fixtures I look forward to the most and, like some others have said, I and my son are going to make a longer day of this one to soak up the added edginess this one brings.
  13. He's won more than you He's won more than you He's won more than you.
  14. Why does the "Hawk Tuah" girl appeal to me a lot more than this fat bloke spitting? Oh, I know!
  15. With that understanding, Mrs Cooper joined FoxesTalk in 2004 and has made over 1.2 thousand posts. She must be a die hard LCFC fan on top of being able to see well into the future to know her husband would one day manage us.
  16. Anyone that has 2 spares for this and can't make it would you please consider contacting me and I'll gladly take them off your hands. Cheers.

  18. I genuinely expected some very random, outlandish answers to this already.
  19. Beat me to it. Def the 5-3 against Man Utd for me. A very special day never to be forgotten by all that attended.
  20. 1 for sale on the website again as I type.
  21. Good point! And if they continue to alienate fans as much as they do I could see us not needing the extra 8000 seats.
  22. Not due to start until 2026 apparently..... https://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/king-power-stadium-expansion-wait-9638289
  23. 1 ticket just came up on the LCFC website.
  24. Could be Saudi bound if any truth in these stories. Would make sense and guess it'll pay the bills! https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/31023835/jamie-vardy-wife-becky-transfer-leicester-saudi-arabia/ https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-13950079/jamie-vardy-rebekah-saudi-arabia.html
