Once Kingy had been here ten years there should have been a testimonial (still for charity) with the title winners vs other team mates of his from over the years with him playing a half for each. Or / and they should have read the room, postponed any announcement of this and scheduled it for the November international weekend (still no Kante and Mahrez though) IF things improve around the club. Still ten years even if it does fall into the next season. It was like going into a funeral wake at a bar and shouting “ Hey there’s a disco in here on Saturday, come on everyone, come along”. Then staging the poorest excuse of a disco possible.

Ahhh no…. “Whadevva Da Wevva I’m not very Clevva my uncles called Trevva la la la la b******s etc”

Tinpot. No beaming Birch, no Bocelli, no confused Demari Gray asking what’s going on. We did it with class, this mob do it like the extras from Oliver Twist they really are.

Good point, I was angry at the time but even more so when they showed what they were capable of in the European Final, it was like night and day the difference.
-
When people say we have unrealistic expectations look at 6th to 9th Bournemouth, Sunderland, Brentford, Brighton, just better run clubs. Would I swap our trophies and big moments to be one of those 4, no, but can’t you aspire to both?
-
Chelsea, huge squad, no European money, they’ll just have to fudge the books again, maybe sell their training bibs to the owner for 40 million quid?
-
Rowett talked about us maintaining the integrity of the league in the final games, shame Moyes didn’t have the same philosophy.

Ooooh save!

Bowen, super, smashing, great, 2-0
-
Ooooh West Ham goal, wake up Everton ffs

The officials Communication headset thingymajig isn’t working so they’re turning it off and on again to rectify.

“Hello, is that Tandy’s North London branch? Do you sell batteries? Can you deliver ASAP?”
-
Due to heavy traffic in the North London area Everton have yet to turn up for their game with Spurs
-
Agree, in my Super 6 I went for West Ham to win 2-0, Spurs to lose 2-1. Whilst I rate De-Zerbi a lot and trust him to set Spurs up well there is so much pressure on them today, if something goes wrong early on I can see their flakiness returning immediately. Or it could be the classic Spursey thing of get in a good position then c**k it up. Moyes will ensure Everton are at it, if Europe was still on I’d have said Spurs definitely wouldn’t get the point they need but even now it’s going to be tough (I hope )

I see Rustie Lee’s last cookbook sold well…..could it be…..? Interviews would be good fun and the catering would improve.

So in order to get promotion we just needed to be better than Hull, better than Boro and not spy on anyone. It wasn’t such a big ask was it?
-
Weird game, I know it’s hot but so lethargic and sloppy, was it a heavy pitch, long grass, it seemed an effort to move the ball ten yards. No good sulking now, do your talking in the 120 minutes of play.
-
Ha, stick that on your water bottle
-
Oh I get it, they don’t have penalty shoot outs in the ladies game they do back passes to the keeper instead

Absolutely agree, when they sat in the briefing room being given the details of Oxford / Ipswich / Boro, particularly Boro who they’d played twice before at that stage, didn’t anyone raise the question “How do we know this”? If it was supposedly based on match footage did they wonder why that was not being played to them as is the norm? If the info gained through spying was just considered supplementary and used in conjunction with traditional presentations and drills you’d still think “How do we know this is the case”. The only other option was that it looked at whether there was anything new or different to expect and the footage revealed that “no there isn’t” so wasn’t useful apart from in re-enforcing existing expectations. Or very minimal in just suggesting the line up but nothing else? I’d say it should be a 1 year ban for all involved but where do you draw the line on “Involved”? The spy, the person who asked him to (manager had admitted), the data team who processed the information and factored it into presentations. Every coach who worked on drills following gaining the information? is there a whistle blowing policy (insert referee joke) for anyone working at a club like in other industries? Or just tip off the chairman anonymously rather than turn a blind eye. it reminds me of the newspaper editors who ran stories from their journalists built around information shared in intimate conversations yet claimed all innocence of knowledge that phone tapping was involved. Where did they think the private dialogue came from?

And the League are being represented by Lord Karm

The only logical, fair and reasonable outcome is to award us 6 points for our defeats in which Southampton seemed suspiciously familiar with our set pieces (so much so they gave us a 3 goal head start in one game). As for the cup game I’ll let that one pass, just call it 2 million pounds in compensation. Sorted
