  1. Commentator said Millwall are waiting for Billy Mitchell to return and improve their side. Cat Slater would improve our side.
  2. Come on be fair to the guy, Winks has had to cancel a picnic in Hyde Park to be here and he won’t get home until half past midnight.
  3. Would have been appropriate, doughnuts for the doughnuts. I think fresh fish too the way they clap like seals waiting for a treat.
  4. Coach 1 who greet him every match as “Winksy” and so as an in-joke he winks at them. Lucky his name wasn’t w*nks. Unlike coach 2 who he just tells to f*** off.
  5. Looks around 12,000 based on average most sections being between a third and a quarter full but factoring in the Millwall mob.
  6. Oh god this song, I now associate it as “We know we’re s**t but smile won’t you”. At £60+ a ticket for an unprepared, ill disciplined, disorganised shower of faeces is nothing to smile about.
  7. If they hadn’t done that multi buy ticket deal it would be even less. I would say fill the ground with school kids for three but there are safeguarding restrictions against such cruelty even if they are the detention kids.
  8. I’d like to see Robins here but if Rudkin still has anything to do with contracts and “squad building” it won’t matter how good the manager is we’ll be handicapped and going backwards every minute that man is still at the club.
  9. Just seen who the captain is ha ha ha ha haha. No standards, he laughed at us after the Swansea match, what a leader, what an example.
  10. If the u23’s are busy elsewhere that’s a real shame, it’ll just be a collection of has beens and never beens going through the motions like a pre-season friendly (or the Hull 1st half), a pancake flat training drill. The youth could have offered a glimmer of positivity to the summer, this will be like watching a badly written, badly acted play that no one wants to see and paying for the privilege. Ayews last home game, fireworks are ready here.
  11. We know a few contracts are up, others are likely to go, in most cases thank goodness but will there be appreciation for Ricardo - or can that be incorporated if he guests in the anniversary game .
  12. Apart from a kid getting a Jordan James one who would want any reminder of this season?
  13. Oh good they’ve begun the work of restoring our standards. So they won’t be handing starts to the ones who haven’t put a shift in then, that’s good news, I look forward to seeing the team sheet.
  14. I wonder if, in relation to other threads here regarding fan divide and clappers there will be category of “yes but re-locating”. I might be able to tolerate watching a young team try to compete in League 1 but not with a running commentary from the Rudkin & KP fan club in my ear.
  15. Weasels are notoriously good tunnellers
  16. Well they've been taking the p*** all season
  17. Offer to put a picture of Rudkins face on a dartboard and you might be inundated.
  18. Judges will be handing them out this week as a punishment level between community service and a custodial sentence.
  19. Rusty Lee flogs a fair few cookery books, she might invest her personal fortune into the club (and improve the concourse catering too) Half time would be hilarious too "Let's be 'avin you hwa hwa hwa hwa hwa"
  20. At the end of the Millwall game how about a hearty rendition of "If you're stupid and you know it clap your hands" sung over the inevitable clapping
  21. I've heard of clubs loaning out players and paying half the wage still, does it ever go higher like 70-80%. Just thinking a promoted Millwall might be a good fit, we pay 70% of the wage and still save money. Or does that mess up the amortisation figures? We'd be a player short but Braybrooke & Page with regretfully Hamza and Skipp should be enough? Don't think 4 yard passes will get us out of that league anyway.
  22. It's one thing to say we can have different opinions just get on with it but the aggression and abuse that comes with it makes the matchday experience less and less enjoyable (and that's before you factor in the actual football!) I join in a "Rudkin out" song (not the sick ones wishing death on him) or criticise Mavididi "He's done nothing again, get him off" and the KP supporters don't just defend him but throw in insults, "Who's going to replace him you idiot", "How do you know the next one will be any better you t**t", "F*** off you moron", "Don't come then you *****" etc. I calmly say "Do you think he's used the budget well, do you think Skipp is a good signing, did we need to give Decordova-Reid 3 years? Do you want him choosing our next signings?" etc and they can't defend it. They may be perceived as meek but a lot of them are as toxic and aggressive as the so called negative ones once you criticise their mates John and Top. They want things to stay as they are and they have done and now look where we've arrived at. As I say I do try calm dialogue, their response is that they daren't risk change change in case it gets worse with the next lot. I can accept their position although I disagree with it but tone down the personal abuse. In return I will retract my description of the clapper at the end of the Oxford match as being "Mutton Headed", not a physical characteristic reference just a suggestion that his brain can't be made of the same stuff most human's brains are made of It was just a shock reaction of mine to seeing something very very bizarre but I'm used to it now and just shake my head at them. As for outside of the match days, the online stuff, less so here more the Facebook pages where the very very casual follower goes all matter of fact .....I felt obliged to correct one that stated "we are in our rightful place, we've spent years floating between the 2nd and 3rd tiers". I politely pointed out we've had one year out of 140+ plus in tier 3 and someone took offence to that comment! It's a fact not an opinion and I haven't even tried to further enhance or dress it up, short of knocking off the war years it's the only truth!
  23. I try to dissect it as follows - The clapping traditionally stems from the players coming over to thank the crowd for their support - a little ritual where they thank us and then the crowd briefly thank them for that acknowledgement. The next bit is determined by the result and performance, ie extended applause if they’ve been brilliant, a joint celebration That was then, this is now. For me that ritual has become null and void with this squad, the attitude, effort and application, I don’t want them to applaud me for my support, I want them to put effort in for 90 minutes and respect the badge, then I’ll respect them. I’m well mannered and respect etiquette but I will not applaud back to acknowledge their acknowledgment, particularly when they’re having to be prompted by the captain and coaches nor will I offer applause for the quality of performance this or last season. I shake my head, I tell them “I’m not clapping that, you haven’t put it in, you gave up” etc. It seems those who do and who engage in clapping in both phases of it have no standards, are star struck at being addressed so closely by semi famous sportsmen and see defeat as something that has just happened to them, something for which they had no responsibility or say. They cannot recognise the ritual is supposedly based on respect and that they do not respect you, nor should you respect them. You respect the players who didn’t want the ball when we were behind vs Swansea? They deserve applause? Hamza laughing at us, Winks abusing us, players not tracking runners, all season week in week out. Clapping suggests satisfaction and approval, well you’ve got the standards that that deserves then. The circle of respect is broken and they broke it.
  24. Uses the words “we” and “together”, the guy who doesn’t go to most of the games. And was the review of the first PL relegation shared between “we”, you know, “us together”? Will Rudkin ever make a statement or face questions?
