  1. Crikey, Rowett has aged 15 years since yesterday!
  2. Winksy, always loved you, your attitude and application
  3. Stokes Thomas clearly can’t tell an arse from an elbow
  4. This is there for the taking, that’s the frustration, cut out sloppiness to improve the outcomes of each action and it’s up for grabs
  5. Wow, Smitt? More like S**t!
  6. Getrinnnthereyabeauty !!!! HMS survive the league has started to turn back on course
  7. It’s possible that Rowett has given them new instructions and ideas but this mob are too thick to implement them.
  8. Still lots of occasions where no one wants the ball, scared of the responsibility. Don’t want a shirt? Fine, tell the manager in the days before the game and f*** off
  9. I’ve liked these commentators for calling out what we’re all seeing but this revisionism that Thomas is prime Maldini is grating now!
  10. Beyond the chaotic defending how are we not keeping possession ourselves for more than ten seconds?
  11. And here we f***ing go, all talk no substance
  12. Once more into the dentists waiting room do we breach……this used to be fun.
  13. So the punch missed but he still got a-salted and ended up in a Korma !
  14. Quite a lot in J1, East Stand. As soon as the songs start regarding Marti, Rudkin or King Power they tut and a few snipe back about better the devil you know scenario but it's at the end, the applause for the non-trying players, even grinning because these semi famous people they like are clapping towards them first. I politely asked some "Why are you clapping? What are you applauding? What have you seen today that deserves recognition through applause" (this was after Oxford!) and they can't answer, just clapping like seals waiting for a fish to be thrown to them. I think the applause are the players saying "Thanks for your support" (just before the manager blames us for the difficult atmosphere we create in the stadium) and the fans clap back in that case saying "Thanks for thanking us and appreciating it" rather than "Thanks for that 100% effort and commitment you put in today" as in the past, which used to be at a justifiable level win, lose or draw. I'm all for good manners and etiquette but that little routine is beyond parody now. It's an attitude that we're just there to watch the performance unfold as if it's a play (a tragedy!) and not have an opinion on the blatant flaws (effort, fitness, cohesion, semblance of a plan) or voice displeasure at what we're witnessing. I've been torn, I want the likes of Nelson, Page and Monga to keep their chin up and feel comfortable in their blooding into the first team and when James played he did put in 100%. But I can't clap a s**t show of yet another early soft goal, yet another going AWOL for the whole 2nd half, yet another stupid red card etc . I think you're right re Facebook, it is disproportionate on there the criticism against the protesters, I suspect many of them follow from a distance and haven't seen up close how bad it is.
  15. Don't tell me, Whelan and Rudkin used his old Betasonic Fax Pro 200 from Alpha Discounts again and the accounts arrived 14 seconds late. In Kathmandu. Maybe the appeal will arrive late too
  16. I saw the news banner on Sky Sports and thought they'd just spelled "Leicester City Are Appalling" wrong . But that's hardly news is it?
  17. If the club are so interested in points how about focusing on fielding an organised, motivated, disciplined side without egocentric want aways and bomb scare defenders, you never know we might gain some legitimately if we do that.
  18. Away to WBA there was a policeman on a horse and another getting kids to feed it with a sugar cube (yes, THE West Midlands Police, I know). When a child gave the horse a sugar cube it lifted up a leg and a small crowd gathered to watch. I went up and said “four please” which the crowd found hilarious but the police reverted to type and forcibly moved us on by riding into us and shouting something about a breach of the peace. I hadn’t spooked the horse, it was just a verbal joke but they lost the plot and just rode into the crowd, coming from all angles, looking for the cheeky so and so who’d said it
  19. At Filbert Street for a night game we cut across the car park behind the main stand, near the club shop, I slowed down to step over a rail I think when the guy behind me smacked into me from behind. I went flying and went straight into another bloke cleaning him out completely, knocking him to the floor. I turned to apologise as he picked himself up and dusted himself down - to my shock / amusement it was Garth Crooks who had been doing a piece to camera for TV . I kept watching alright on the night in case they were sent the footage but alas no.
  20. For me it's about a huge vote of no confidence in the decision makers at the club. 2 1/2 years ago when they eventually mentioned the first relegation it was a case of don't worry, the clubs security and future is safe, the ship was visibly sailing in the wrong direction but there was that crumb of promise that whilst it will likely get worse before it gets better the core club is safe. We are currently still sailing in the wrong direction but now the hull is cracked and the ship is clearly sinking, in the relegation zone with a team who can't keep a single clean sheet or a CF who can contribute goals on a semi-regular basis and no manager. The ongoing finances are clearly nothing like secure and mentally the players are shot and need a psychologist desperately. Who was behind the decisions that lead us to this? The contracts, the signings, the managerial choices. Do you want those same people to make the next decisions? I'm all for having faith but I know an iceberg when I see one and we're staring one in the face. Jump ship (some have but not an option for some), change direction or go "ooooh an iceberg" clap, clap, clap, like lemmings off a cliff?
  21. Could this be why the appointment of a manager has been delayed - to get him in first and for him to play a part in the choice or at least to bring the two in together as a reset?
  22. Or Filbert’s “last man (well fox) standing” first in charge
  23. His confidence really is shot on top of any other questions regarding ability. Now we have Kristiansen and Aluko available the kindest thing would be to leave him out of the squad completely for a few weeks and see how he responds in training, fielding him hands the opposition a goal head start, much like the situation with Justin last season.
