  1. Just one letter out from what I described them
  2. Maddison says don’t worry, we’ll be fine, we’re too good. They’ll be relegated in that case.
  3. I don’t want to let on how good my choice of pub is otherwise everyone would go to The Kings Head and it will be even more packed. Doh!
  4. VK will start, a bit rusty, 2 late tackles, 2 yellows, on same winger who caused Aluko problems in the away game. 35 minutes. Meanwhile Flynn Downes will kick lumps out of everyone and get away with it.
  5. I can think of 20….the Southampton squad
  6. Yep, that’s the team, fed up with people saying Monga doesn’t do much with his opportunities yet Mavididi is allowed quiet game after quiet game without repercussions regarding his place. More reliable full backs and although I hear he’s more of a winger we can’t go on picking tweedle dumb or tweedle dumber who just don’t affect the game so Richards is worth a look.
  7. Ordinarily a new manager would look at this and focus on making us hard to beat and tighter at the back but 16 or so 0-0’s wouldn’t be enough. It’s a general culture of sloppiness, lack of responsibility, organisation and standards. Putting Luke Thomas on a team sheet gives the opponents an XG OF +1 before a ball is kicked.
  8. We have as much chance of a clean sheet as a pubescent lad with his first razz mag.
  9. When he came on away to Norwich he changed the game. That is my only memory of him in 18 months.
  10. Aribo is unintelligible, no, itretellable, no, unilegobaltal……thingy He can’t play
  11. Master Bates would be a good fit for this bunch of w***ers
  12. There might be a dead rubber game at the end of the season that just peters out to a 0-0
  13. Should make a substitution too
  14. If the club don’t appeal the length of his suspension then I will. Using ai graphics I’m sure I can get them to extend it
  15. “Yet he did have a say over the lucrative contracts handed to players with little market interest – Jannik Vestergaard, Harry Winks, Conor Coady, Jordan Ayew, Oliver Skipp and Bobby De Cordova-Reid.” That’s what we’ve been calling out each time, why offer such a generous and long contract if there’s little or no competition from other clubs at the time for their signature. Don’t offer Vestergaard 3 or 4 years, offer 2, don’t offer DeCordova-Reid 3 years offer 2 at most, don’t offer Ayew…….well, don’t offer Ayew full stop. There was no need. Looking after Matty James that time with the security of a 4 year deal was eyebrow raising, pretty bizarre but understandable as he was well known to the club and it felt more of a respectful gesture than a footballing decision. Ironically it’s other clubs (Bristol City & Wrexham) who have benefited from the second wind that security enabled him to have when it looked like he was close to finished. The Luke Thomas one is hard to fathom and in the event of another relegation we’d rather have fewer weighty contracts on our books than a remaining 3 years for someone currently struggling at this level of the game ie no higher ceiling.I don’t think anyone is thinking “Oh s**t, Luke is attracting so much interest we need to tie him down to a long deal” or “I hope no one comes in and poaches Luke Thomas from us”.
  16. So just like any other Thursday night for them then?
  17. It’s strange, as a “Valued Supporter” the club pepper me with emails regarding the smallest most trivial things. Why did I not attend a Monday night game, we lost again on Saturday, we sell cuddly filberts in the club shop etc yet today……….yes it’s on the app and probably on the web site but come on, where’s the communication of significant news and no doubt a happy-clappy rallying cry about needing us more than ever. No, I don’t want £5 off a training top, I want to know the nitty gritty about where we’re at as a club.
  18. Yeah it’s totally derailed our emphatic surge towards deserved promotion
  19. Crikey, I started reading the full thing but it has more waffle than a fat Belgians breakfast. Drier than the Sahara and just as vast. No wonder it took so long, who pays for the costs of it all? Several professional people’s time for many weeks and a significant amount of Tea and Hobnobs consumed
  20. Maybe we’ll be on the comedy or horror channel instead?
  21. I know of a safe parking space for Millwall away. Luton.
  22. Top after reading the findings of the report
  23. Sorry but “set new standards”? The standards he set were that you could give up chasing, contribute nothing to a game or a 2nd half and put in less than 100% then come the next match, pat on the back, here’s your shirt (starting place) go again son. Leaving Ayew on for 90 minutes is not setting any kind of standards, what standards are the kids at the training ground picking up on when they see “jog around” Soumare selected again? We had no standards at all, well the fans did but internally the club had none.
