  1. Always loved Chelsea I need a shower after saying that!
  2. Perhaps someone can nominate themselves to do this otherwise they may twig it’s a gag when they receive their 900th key ring
  3. "Rohl, Rohl, Rohl's the bloke To lead our football team Steadily, steadily, steadily, steadily, Climb up the Football League" (Based on starting on minus 12 points!!)
  4. So he’s a SLO Bastard? We’ve got one of them, he’s called Vestergaard.
  5. To be fair to him Maddison didn’t put a foot wrong in 90 minutes, rightly at the centre of celebrations
  6. F***ing hell, I’ve just seen Richarlison smile
  7. The new Spurs stadiums trophy room awaits
  8. Ange to come out of tunnel in clown car for lap of honour
  9. Why did Utd wait so long to give it a go? Gave Mason Mount 70 plus minutes to jog around pointing? Just no personality or style about them, manager gambled in giving the flops of the first half another 25 mins to turn it round. End up swinging crosses in to a centre half as their only hope of scoring, amazing what a couple of billion pounds gets you.
  10. Leicester aggro Leicester aggro oooooh
  11. Coming soon….Van De Ven in Swan Lake
  12. Just like that England Euro final v Italy, he’s so passive he should buy a ticket if he’s just going to watch the game.
  13. Don’t despair, still got the “going all Spursey” phase to come. Get yourself in a good position, point gun at your own foot, pull trigger.
  14. Gawd knows what the rest of Europe and the wider world are making of this. Yes finals can be tense, cautious and tepid but there are so many misplaced passes and attempts at play acting it’s just a mess.
  15. I don’t know how good / bad / indifferent Udogie is but I could see that runt Chilwell in a Spurs shirt next season, he seems a bit Spursey.
  16. Yep, some sort of Heritage fund in the national interest, a national treasure, or they’ll fit in some friendlies / a new tin pot tournament in Saudi Arabia/ China / USA.
  17. The loser won’t be in any European competition next season which may help their league form but will surely mess with their finances (topical point) . Good
  18. Ah yes, Thr Chumpions League Final. Tough to “want” either, would just be funny to continue Spurs trophy-less run though.
  19. Rhymes with “fartin’ “ so plenty of scope for new songs
  20. Our accountant Just without the cunning plan though.
  21. Longer term is it in any way encouraging that in January they said there was wiggle room in the budget to bring another player in but they couldn't find one for their budget (tuppence h'apenny and an acorn) who they all felt would improve the side. So in that sense the 24-25 season is either in their within budget range or it'll turn out they got that calculation wrong too and we don't even have that news to look forward to in the next set of figures and 3 year figures
  22. December accounts arrived 14 seconds too late....about time they took that fax machine back to Alpha Discounts for a refund !
  23. Re Martin, he explained his style / philosophy last season as being about moving up the pitch together as a unit and outnumbering / overloading areas as you advance but in a patient way, eventually playing your football in the final third where your overload hurts them (50 passes to gain 10 yards of territory), I don't see why you'd want someone who plays that way when you have the flair and relative pace of Fatawu, Mavididi, Monga, Alves etc, it's like you'll be stilting their natural instinct to break quickly. Yes we had all that with Maresca, Mavididi would wait patiently with time for a sandwich and cup of tea whilst Vestergaard, Ricardo and Winks passed the opposition into exhaustion but at least they had free reign in the final third to come alive and hurt the opposition. With Martin it sounded like even the final third was patiently structured, like Wengers Arsenal trying to walk it into the goal, just without the world class talents. And B) He reminds me of Nick Knowles, so it's a no from me.
  24. Meanwhile in the Manchester City Case........
