  1. He'd have to change his name to Danny Cob if he comes to Leicester
  2. The reply that they'll be up for sale when the game has sold out may be generic rather than a live update on the situation, does anyone ever get a message that says "thanks for re-listing, it's now live for re-sale" rather than "it will be when sold out"? Is it possible that that number of seats dotted around are all re-sale seats and the match had technically sold out which triggered them becoming available i.e. all the seats you can see are re-sales not original for sales? Unlikely for the sizzling blockbuster that is City v Southampton I know but who knows anything any more!!
  3. Think it'll be 0-0. We don't do goals and Southampton will miss the 2 or 3 sitters we gift them.
  4. Hi Soyuncu, welcome to the forum!
  5. Mending a wireless microphone in a school, I was getting peeved at the students staring at me so I took it into the corridor. Trying to refit the batteries and get a steady connection I was going a bit potty mouth, when I returned to the class all the kids were red faced with tears streaming, it turns out every 2nd or 3rd word had been coming through the speakers. Could have been worse, I could have taken it to the loo ala Leslie Neilsen in Naked Gun!
  6. Twatterface - “Goals are absolute key”. Thank god for his expert insight, without it I wouldn’t have a clue what was going on.
  7. Poor old Nottinfinal Forest
  8. Let’s take a moment to sympathise with Gibbs-White……..,ok enough
  9. Blimey O’Reilly, he’s been watching me in 5 a-sides and copied my trademark move!
  10. Gardening leave must be the solution, the guy can’t be well if he thinks he’s doing a competent job. Take him out of the firing line, let Kingy pick the side and set up, be looking now for the next manager and confirm departure in the next financial period if that’s the issue.
  11. Think it’ll be 0-0. Remember folks, “Bring your whole squad”, I just wish Ruud wouldn’t.
  12. 8 passes today apparently. Man, if you want to just watch the game buy a ticket like the rest of us. Just so passive and ineffective. But he’ll be handed a shirt again next time because Ruud has absolutely no standards or respect for our badge.
  13. Aside from Vardy, focus on players who could be here next season. Stolarczyk Ricardo Okoli Coady Thomas Ndidi (unlikely to stay I know) / Cartwright Skipp MacAteer El Khannous Monga Vardy Suggest Wilf starts but give a youngster the last 30 mins, maybe harsh on Mads if he hasn’t expressed a desire to leave but need to build up Jakub’s all round experience. Winks can hang out in Mothercare for the afternoon, Soumare, Faes, Eduauard and Bouananotte pointless being involved at all. Biggest hope for the day is a Vardy goal with a chance of number 200 next weekend at home. Wolves 4 Randomly constructed side of assorted f***wits 1
  14. If this had been his audition, well what have the board seen from him that impresses? Yes we know the hand he was dealt with poor squad and poor / diabolical / virtually non-existent backing but what has he shown? What is his style? Which players have improved under him? Can he organise a side defensively? Can he get a side functioning in the final third? Can he get a side to win their midfield battle? Does he make good, logical or inspirational substitutions? How does he react to poor performances regarding continued team selection? We've had a good close look at all of this, what is the verdict, what can anyone see that shows competence or even potential? The way he deals with players perhaps but on the pitch, keeping Liverpool and Arsenal out for a long period of the games, is that the CV highlight? He picks Faes. He picks Soumare. He claims that he does make changes when picking the same line ups, subtle ones within the existing system that we're perhaps too ignorant to appreciate. Did they work? Maybe the 2 easiest games of the season on-paper, Southampton and Ipswich, will reveal something, we'll see something, some identity, some semblance of a style, who knows, a goal (let's not get carried away) but if after those two there's still no encouragement, what then?
  15. Re the statue - You just know it'll turn out looking more like Albert Steptoe and end up on Have I Got News For You so the whole nation can rip the P out of it, hopefully not as bad / comical as the Great Yarmouth Waxworks "Guess Who" round though . But get it done and done well, maybe Red Bull can finance it if we incorporate a can in the pose .
  16. T-shirts available soon from fazzyfox enterprises
  17. No wonder I ended up in the river Soar that time!
  18. This evening there will be households all round the county and beyond with little children and their parents, with the TV off, serious face on, arm around the shoulder, finding a moment to break the news with the inevitable tantrums, tears, "It's not fair", not wanting their tea, storming up to bed, slamming doors. My thoughts go out to all the kids having to break the news to mum and dad this evening.
  19. But without that system how would the 32,000 people walking round aimlessly with compasses ever find the correct stand
  20. Hopefully he gets his 2 goals by then and by the 70th minute v Ipswich can be subbed for huge ovation, leaving remaining time for the appropriate atmosphere that the club deserves as it would have been before this news. Any chance we can do a pre-order for the programmes before the ebay scalpers buy bundles at a time as they do with every other special edition. I would say can we have a free one on every seat but after the crisps and t-shirt episodes people can't be trusted to just take their own
  21. I just love the layout of his lounge
  22. Breaking up is Vard to do
  23. True that the PSR rules would not allow his personal wealth to help in that way but hopefully a fresh attitude towards sorting out the structure of the club, addressing the required changes of personnel in the DOF and Managerial roles, a new drive to push on with the ground and broader area expansion (even if this was a KP project to have an arena etc). A different decision maker because the current decisions have got us to where we are today. Yes, who knows, he may be even worse but at the moment we are driving fast towards a cliff edge and no-one at the club seems bothered about changing direction.
