Bring Alves up to the senior team too, I'd rather develop our youngster than a Chelsea one. I was dreading watching him get overran by Ipswich tbh.

To be honest I find this defeat surprisingly easy to take. We were mediocre first half. Referee correct to send of Fats. Never looked like holding out second half and once they equalised we were always losing that game. And I don't really care about Coventry.

Seems bizarre to bring Hamza on after we've conceded the goal. I guess a point is all we can hope for now.

Excellent save just before the Huddersfield goal. I think his weakness (similar to Kasper) is perhaps dealing with being crowded when the opposition crosses the ball at set pieces. I can see him being with us for years to come.

I'm not sure if I'm remembering incorrectly, but Cardiff always seemed like a really tough place for us to go in the early 2010s. It felt like we'd lose every time, with Whittingham playing like peak Beckham. The play off semis were agony too. Very satisfying to go there and win comfortably. Edit: Shit me, didn't realise Whittingham had died!

I think we'd have all taken an Ipswich draw at home to QPR but in the end Ipswich were very fortunate to get a point there, another stonewall penalty against them not given.

Obviously never nice to concede injury time but it's a good point away at 2nd place. I feel a draw is the fair result.

Our substitutions have massively weakened us but then you can't have the same XI playing 90 minutes game after game over the Christmas period.
