  1. Read this and then had to scroll back to the top to see that it isn't!
  2. My suggestion is to stick "Sophos intercept X" on your phones. It should warn you before your phone goes to any scam sites. I run it on all our families phones and it's saved us a few times with the kids following dodgy links. It also scans apps before you download them and will tell you if they have poor reputations. Doesn't stop you from doing anything but does warn you.
  3. Just cancelled my non-cancellable tickets, I'm pretty sure we can get down there but not sure the trains will be running to get us back or running very slowly. Road Trip now! If you need to cancel call 03457125678 and options 2 then 1 and be ready for a wait, don't chose the ring back option as the don't call you back. Took 14 mins to get through. Not sure if it worked, no email and still showing in the App. That's next weeks problem.
  4. Hope they have a turnstile just for us physical ticket holders.
  5. Out of interest I checked and logged in on my PC I also could not get anywhere with this from the home page. Hovering over my name did not bring anything up, nor did clicking on the links. However, if I clicked on the "TICKETS" button at the top left of the screen which took me to the page where you can chose from Home, Away, Travel, Women's tickets etc, then from this page it did work, hovering over my name in the top right did then bring up the options, and under Personal Details/Alerts it does come up. Hope it works for you. oh, and make sure you have disabled any Pop-Up blockers that you may be running. Great Team, Crap website. Best of Luck.
  6. Yep, Virgin dug up and laid their own cables, (fast fiber optic cables) so you will have a virgin cable that comes from your front path to your building and in to a 6" x 4" (ish) brown box on the outside of your wall. There will be a cable that goes from this box to your Virgin TV box, another one that goes to your Virgin internet router, and another 1 that goes to your virgin phone (if you have all 3 services). when you cancel your Virgin these cables will stop working. Virgin used to be the only ones with fiber optic cables so were the only ones with quick speeds. Everyone else used the BT cables that came to your house, which were copper cables and the further you lived away from the exchange the poorer you internet was. In the last few years BT have been putting fibre cables in, so you can now get comparable speeds from the other suppliers as well via your BT telephone socket. 7. Right just done mine, Fairly straight forward but here is the way to do it if anyone is struggling:- Log in to your LCFC account first. From the email LCFC sent, follow the link "CLICK HERE TO SUBMIT YOUR PREFERENCE FOR YOUR 2022/23 SEASON TICKET" Click on the Yellow "Buy" button. Click on the Blue "Delivery Method Selection". Click on Yellow "Select" button that should appear. Select the quantity of "Season Card" you need, I picked 2 as I look after my Sons and my tickets. Click on Yellow Add to Basket button. I then had to allocate the 2 cards, one to me and the other one to my son by clicking on the black "Owner" names. Scroll down and Click on the Yellow "proceed to checkout" Click on Next. Accept the T&C's Click on the Yellow "Submit" button. All done.
  8. Going for cards (If I can find the option) for me and my son, don't need to worry about having our phones, having battery power, easier to pass on to friends & family, plus have a souvenir for the future.
  9. Mine says I'm enrolled for auto renew, but not found the option to ask for cards instead of mobile yet. (using PC) (Still love the club, Still hate the website).
  10. "Mobile Ticketing" I want to opt out and get cards for me and my son. I've not found the "opt out" option on the website yet, If I find it I'll post the location here, if any of you have found it already, can you give me a clue? Ta, (Love the club, hate the website)
  11. Yep, Info says you need NFC working on your phone and Google/Apple pay activated, so I guess once set up it will be tap your phone to get in.
  12. Road works. Coming home from Burnley last night and chose the M1 route........M62 last night was down to 1 lane at 2 different points, and the M1 was down to 1 lane in 3 different places as well as being completely shut in 2 places. Google Maps unaware of any of it. Got home eventually.
  13. I don't agree, why do you think that? Sources?
  14. Can anyone help me set my heart zones on my Garmin? I've tried a few different ways and they seem to be set either way too low or way too high. Do you base your zones on %HRR, BPM or %Max.HR. I tried googling it but disappeared down a search hole. ta.
  15. Yep, I agree, I need to do some core work plus work on flexibility, at 50 I'm now starting to stiffen up. I've tried searching Youtube for beginners yoga or runners stretching and get overloaded by the amount of results, plus I don't know if they know what they are doing. Has anyone got a recommendation for someone to follow?
  16. It's a twitter thread thing Try this
  17. I'm not in retail but I'm guessing these are real things that customers do in real shops. I liked how there are many comedy threads running at the same time, like "how they keep finding human feet" in the shop is becoming a norm for them. Agree on the employment rights thing. I learnt a few things that I did not want to be true.
  18. Right, I'm back. I hurt my back back in October, nothing serious, but then tried to come back too soon and in Feb I did it in properly and did some nerve damage, numb foot, couldn't walk. I'm now back to very light runs. I used the C25K programme to come back slowly. I'm on week 6 and running for about 20 mins slowly. It is a right come down from 2 hour runs, playing footy etc to overnight not being be to stand up. I can say that I have a new respect for C25Kers that do it for the first time. I found the first week incredibly difficult to do which is effectively only 8 mins of running. Will hopefully be back at it fully in 3 months (if I don't over do it).
  19. Thanks for this, I gave it a go and have ended up watching the lot.
  20. BBC news have just spent the last half an hour solidly repeating the exact same thing regarding Prince Charles, over and over and over. At one point the newsreader told us twice that he had coronavirus, they then went to a royal correspondent who told us the same thing. Then she reread the statement, got cut off, the news reader finished it, they got the correspondent back and she read it all again. They then left her and went to another royal correspondent who told us it all again. What a waste of ****ing time and resources. 21. I used Running fox in Loughborough for my first pair, had my gate evaluated on their treadmill, then bought some shoes from them. You can just pay for the evaluation and then go elsewhere. I used sportshoes.com for my second pair. If you know someone who has health insurance through Vitality you can get 50% off once a year at a runners need web site.
  22. Let me know when another funny picture gets posted.
  23. Went out for a run with a mate while we waited for our kids to do a session at Saffron lane track. I took him around the KP so he could see a premier league ground. He's a WBA fan. I think he appreciated it
  24. I'm out for a week while my achilles repairs. I'm strapped up and will be on the wobble board for a few days and then should be back on it.
  25. This, plus 2 characters in a standoff pointing guns at each other. Surely it's the first one to pull the trigger wins. So while they are chatting, just shoot him mid sentence.
