  1. See Cags is doing his thing still.
  2. If anyone has a link so I can watch the second half over here in sunny Italy I would be most grateful.
  3. Swansea 0-4 Leicester Bobby hat trick (as he’s ex Cardiff) and Carranza (off his backside) Would like to point out that I haven’t had a drink in 27 years and have not started again, but I haven’t slept all week and can see colours. TODAY IS THE DAY WE TURN THINGS AROUND!
  4. I’m certain our lack of sponsor is because BC Game signed up for two years and it’s some legal thing.
  5. Marcin Wasilewski
  6. Ain’t Will Still a brilliant manager? 😂😂😂
  7. We were the better team. Their keeper was Sky’s man of the match. Pretty much nullified their attack and stopped Sky spaffing over the “entertainers” of the division 😂 We will be alright. Feels like things are slowly but surely getting there. Frustrating at times for sure, but on another day we’ve won that 3-0 with the chances we’ve had. James looks like he’ll be good.
  8. The way Sky are banging on about Coventry you’d think they were a cross between the Ajax side of the early seventies and Brazil
  9. Just giving this a wee bump as it's ten years today since Nathan Dyer's heroic header gave us a 3-2 win over Villa after being 2-0 down. Have posted four videos over on the 5000 to 1 Instagram page (once again, thanks to @Footballwipe) Match preview Claudio wears a hat and the Soccer Saturday guys pass comment Highlights of the game Hearing from Claudio and some selection analysis from Sky Please click here to go over to the Instagram page - give it a follow if you can. That Dyer goal is one of my first utterly great memories of that fantastic year. I'd also forgotten that Villa scored two absolute bangers, but Mahrez was just unbelievable on that day.
  10. Like anyone else who grew up in Hinckley, I cannot stress how much I absolutely hate Coventry. Despise them. The Fatawu red card game two years back made me so angry back when I lived in the USA that my nice Ecuadorian neighbour had to knock on my door to make sure I was alright. Thin walls. They don’t still have that fat Jack Grealish knockoff from Temu do they?
  11. Fair play to the lad for apologising. Doesn’t take away the daftness of doing it, but there’s some maturity there to say sorry.
  12. You’d always take a point after being down to ten for so long. Sorted the problems at half time after an awful first half. Ricardo is the best player in the division by a million miles. I will happily sell my soul to the devil to keep him fit for the season.
  13. Ayew has put in a good shift today.
  14. Scenes in here if BDCR scores
  15. I swear I saw Winks geeing the crowd up when we scored. If so, that’s a good sign that he’s going to knuckle down and play for the team.
  16. Is Jannik trying to get sent off? Did he leave his dog tied up outside or something?
  17. Brilliant. Absolutely no need to fly into that challenge at all by Ramsey.
  18. Now is Marti wearing a jacket or a gillet? Looks like he found it on a rack in TK Maxx
  19. Good anticipation by Ayew for the goal. Placheta is a good player. Nearly went in off Jakub’s backside. Can’t understand why a bigger team hasn’t given him a look.
  20. Sat working and have Sky Sports on in the background. It's the 2020 Papa John's final between Salford and Portsmouth and both keepers absolutely play out of their skins. Neither of them were ever letting a goal in that day (until it went to pens) Got me thinking - what's the best goalkeeping performance that you've ever seen both for us and against us? I remember Aaron Ramsdale being unbeatable against us once and also I think the Hereford keeper in a 0-0 draw in the cup (I think). Kasper in the cup final sticks out but that's more a couple of big saves than being almost superhuman-like in being totally unbeatable. Did Russell Hoult play out of his skin on his unexpected debut? Bonus points if you manage to avoid making any kind of Danny Ward joke as part of this thread.
  21. FYI for anyone ordering the Cremonese shirt it's on pre-order now, delivered in October. Vardy has been given the number 10 squad number. I have done this. Once again, I am 47 years old.
  22. I watched him in the MLS and he was decent (especially compared to some of the absolute dross I watched when I lived over there). Thanks for also reminding me of how much I hate the Beautiful South with this thread, you monsters.
  23. Need his squad number ASAP so I can order my Cremonese shirt. I am 47 years old.
  24. Loved that. Marti has steadily built up the spirit of the squad and sure, it wasn’t pretty but you always felt we had lads out there who were TRYING. Soumare was bloody great. I’ll take him being that player going forwards!
