Kyle Jardine gone onto a contract. He has had a great start this season so assume clubs higher up have been looking at him. What could his level be? He doesn’t look the most mobile of players but certainly is dangerous in & around the box.

Tbf before he left them in 2024 palace fans didn’t have much to cheer about. Since getting rid of him & actually getting players in who can score and offer the team more than just winning cheap freekicks and slowing down every attack they have actually done quite well.

Daka needs to come on ASAP no threat going forward Ayew dropping deeper & deeper.

He’s just not very good. The odd good save here and there but makes plenty of mistakes. Also he’s terrible with the ball at his feet.

Amarviv Sandhu should be playing at least a step higher if not 2. Great signing for Lutterworth.

Glasner is bang out of order if it’s true that he threatened to walk out. Clubs like Crystal Palace can’t afford to lose players like Guehi for nothing which is likely what will happen now anyway. He could have used some of that money and re-invested it back into squad. What will happen now is he’ll lose Guehi on a free next year, have to spend millions on replacing and have less of a budget to strengthen elsewhere.

I’m sure someone said Pearson thought of money like he was spending his own. So if he wanted someone and they were expensive he wouldn’t push the club to sign them, he would happily just walk away. Islam Slimani for instance Pearson wanted him but felt he wasn’t worth more than £13 million or so. A couple of years late we signed him at more than double that.

Go back to the thread when we signed him. There weres people genuinely saying what a good bit of business it was and how he was a solid signing. Anyone even with the tiniest bit of football knowledge knew what a bad signing it was and exactly how it would pan out.

Whatever we want for BEK we should add on £13 million pound extra just for Palace. Get some of that money they robbed off us for Edouard & Ayew last year.
