Blocking the development pathway? They have a ****ing phenomenal development pathway. And that's exactly what they're doing right now, experimenting with one eye on next year. This was always going to be a transitional year for Ireland, they'll be pretty comfortable with that.
-
I can see why they won't let Wales and Ireland wear their home shirts against each other. If you were colour blind you could absolutely believe this was us playing France.
-
Camera angle was very weird. Typical French TV. Think it might have been flat.
-
Can this finally be the ****ing end of it

No offence but this is the most generic, bland, copy and paste sacked manager statement. I don't doubt Marti is a fairly nice person, I think most people generally are, but this isn't really evidence of anything it's just meaningless fluff.
-
You mean almost like selling an equal share in the tournament to a venture capitalist group might have somehow let some sort of genie out of the bottle? Who could have seen that coming.

I watched a reasonable amount of his open place as opposed to just reels on YouTube and it's not the flashy stuff that made him stand out it was his consistent movement, constantly dropping in to pockets to find space and get on the ball and keep it moving.

When Thomas plays: oh christ this is bad, get Kristiansen on. When Kristiansen comes on: oh **** oh **** it's worse, play Thomas next week. You think Watford's owners have a sane approach to hiring and firing?
-
I imagine Birmingham will actually defend, in fairness.
-
He's about as much a striker as Ayew is. The striking options at the club are now Daka & 3 guys whose best position is elsewhere. Ayew and Richards are wingers and Mukasa is an attacking midfielder. Carranza turned out to be poor but at least we actually got the right idea.
-
A combination of Lascelles, a new coach getting the basics right and JJ coming back from injury will keep us safe imo. I doubt either of the kids or Aribo will make profound difference. Mukasa definitely looks the most likely of the two but you never know. He's obviously got more ability but it's about how they respond mentally to stepping up to senior football in front of actual, real crowds and until they do we won't know.

Chelsea and Man City fight PSR by bulk selling hundreds of youngsters. We won't sneak him out for free.
-
I honestly just think he was a 0 hour panic and we've grabbed any forward that a big six club was willing to loan out for free. Think he's here to make up numbers and will barely get a kick. Ayew first choice for the rest of the season. Great.
-
He's not any kind of target man and I wouldn't expect to see much from him in the air. Tbh he doesn't even play much like a striker, he's like a taller, more raw Abdul with less of a right foot. Nearly all the Chelsea youth videos I've seen of him on YouTube he's playing RW.

What Game Are You Playing At The Moment ?
Finnegan replied to LeicesterBran's topic in Music and Gaming
It's not like that. It wasn't even at launch, to be honest, the game had a really fun mix of different people and it was pretty suspenseful because you never knew who was a bandit. But the game was way more popular than they were expecting, it blew up with loads of - to put it mildly - complete and total wimps inexplicably buying the game with no idea what an extraction shooter was. So there were a fair few rumblings of people moaning about being shot at. Regardless, it was hugely successful and nearly everyone was loving it. But embark have a habit of over pandering to try and please everyone so they've implemented what the community is calling ABMM, an aggression based match making system. So if you play it entirely peacefully and never bother shooting anyone you'll get in to lobbies that are heavily, heavily favoured towards PvE. I've had situations where I've gone to shoot someone and they've just stood on the spot and let me shoot them without shooting back because people are scared that if they do they'll go in to PvP lobbies. Honestly it's insane. It's gone too far imo and I hope embark readjust it or even remove it entirely. The game was more fun at launch when it was less predictable. Now you know your game is going to be either Stardew Valley or PUBG based on the first few seconds of the round. TLDR: just buy it, you'll be fine, it's not super aggressive unless you want it to be. -

Aw man. Finished the Nioh 3 demo. Looking forward to Friday now for the release. -
Yeah 100%. He's always where he shouldn't be and never where he should. The only position we should ever play him, if at all, is the wing. He's clueless anywhere else.
-
In fairness, there's quite a lot of YouTube video of Man City's u19s. In particular, their European campaigns. There's a lot of just simple match videos out there you can watch of him without it being cropped to make him look like Pele. He does look good, he's probably one of their main stand outs, especially when they play him at 10. Gets involved in everything, links up most of their attack. Something we've really missed since Bilal left. I don't hate BDCR actually, I think he's done a good job but he's more a support striker than an actual playmaker when he's at 10.
-
@StanSP getting ready to swoop in there
-
If Richards was in his early twenties and had just scored 50 goals in 60 games in one of Europe's top twenty leagues then yeah. Something like that. Richards is (would be?) coming here even more raw than Fatawu with no track record of note even if that u19 or u21 level and a highlight reel less impressive than two or three e of our own junior forwards.

A significant number of credible journalists have all said we were confident we'd done this deal yesterday. We obviously were working on it and seem to think we did it in time. It's possible that it was late for whatever reason and the club didn't get it done. That doesn't make all of those people wrong. I can't say I'm that fussed. He looks unbelievably raw, I doubt he'd be much more than cover. Just big and fast, not particularly technically gifted.
