For the last few weeks he's not been anonymous in a metronome, pass-before-the-pass kind of way. He's been anonymous in a 'was he actually playing' kind of way

Don't think they'll move yet, but maybe 'new manager' will be the first thing in this technical director's in tray. Did anyone hear any more about the supposed loud bust-up between Marti and Rudkin within earshot of the players a few weeks ago?
-
He set us up with a suicidally high line today with a back 4 of a makeshift RB, a clown, the world's slowest man and a 19 year-old with 1 previous appearance as a substitute. The lineup was out of his hands but the tactical mistake was clear to see from the off. He then stuck with it as we conceded 3 goals. I actually thought Aluko was unlucky, Fatawu forced him into his first card. He got forward well, battled, had good positioning and played like he'd die for the shirt. Would pick him over Thomas.

I dont know where this idea that Andy King has ever done anything in football management has sprung from
-
Exactly. We haven't comfortably outplayed a team over 90 minutes all season. And as for the attacking football and ruthless killing off of games he was talking about when he joined, not seen a glimmer.

I'm going for a win draw loss or something similar

'I Want People To Be Closer' - Khun Top Speaks

They're fully in bed with the Thai royal family. The company's called King Power ffs. I've been meaning to make a post about the Thai royals for a while, they are a highly oppressive institution with a massive propaganda operation. This is the playbook. -

This was a double-edged sword. It's arguable that the sense of unity through the whole club was one of the x factors that tipped us over the line in first place. It's also beyond doubt that the resultant player power and short-circuit to the owner's ear has caused some of the problems that have come home to roost in the years since. -
That shot from the edge in the first 15 was miserable. Wish that had fallen to JJ in that position.
-
The stats for this one are interesting. Wednesday 60% of the ball, closing on 370 passes and zero shots on target.

Wow do you think the club knows this? Shoot more, like what Scotland did! Of course! Someone needs to get this revolutionary information to Marti as soon as possible.

Premier League has charged LCFC with an alleged breach of PSR
Bourbon Fox replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
Not going to claim that the management of the club has been anything but terrible, but this is one of the points that Samuel makes - slip up for one season or one window, one signing, and the effects compound upon each other because you can't pay to undo your problems without further breaches. It means that the margin for error of the clubs you mention is much, much smaller than those clubs at the top of the financial tree. All of the clubs you mentioned are a couple of cock-ups away from big trouble; our leadership just happens to have done particularly badly, hence our current position. -

I mean you kind of get that what with having him on the pitch... Like Daka. Absolute points deduction of a player. -
Premier League has charged LCFC with an alleged breach of PSR
Bourbon Fox replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
Percy's article: Leicester City’s latest legal row with the Premier League will finally begin next week. The Championship club will appear at a hearing as they contest three new charges, with the renewed prospect of a points deduction hanging over them. Leicester are alleged to have breached profitability and sustainability rules for the 2023-24 season, when the club was last operating in the Championship. With the Premier League confirming the charges in May, Leicester were also accused of failing to provide their annual accounts before the December 31 deadline. There was an additional charge after failing an “obligation to provide full, complete and prompt assistance to the Premier League”. Leicester are facing a number of potential sanctions if the charges are proven by an independent disciplinary commission. That could range from a points deduction to a fine or transfer ban. Leicester’s legal battles with the Premier League have been ongoing for over 18 months. In September last year, Leicester won an appeal against their first alleged breach of PSR when a panel found the Premier League did not have the jurisdiction to punish Leicester as they had been relegated to the Championship when their accounting period ended on June 30, 2023. Renowned sports lawyer Nick De Marco and his team at Blackstone Chambers successfully defended Leicester on that occasion, and are expected to represent them at next week’s hearing. How bad were Leicester’s losses? Leicester have made combined losses of over £200m across the three-year rolling period ending June 30, 2024. PSR regulations permit a maximum of £81m over that period, with adjustments for deductions. Those losses included a record amount of £92.5m in the 12 months leading up to May 2022. The following year they reported losses of £89.5m, attributing them to a number of factors including relegation, the “unplanned expenditure” of sacking £8m-a-year manager Brendan Rodgers, plus an estimated £30m deficit from finishing 18th in the table below targeted expectations. As a result of those losses, Leicester have spent just under £3m on transfer fees this year. When could we get a verdict? It is unclear when Leicester will discover the outcome of this hearing, but many sources claim a final verdict is not expected until the end of this year at the earliest. Appeals could risk the row dragging on into the second half of the season. After rules were amended earlier this year, any sanction – including a points deduction – could be imposed this season with Leicester in the Championship. That uncertainty is threatening to cause great disruption in the chase for promotion. Leicester and the Premier League declined to comment. -

Err, the way you said that first quote made it look like you don't think Top is the definition of that second quote... -
Very rare at that level for them to call a spade a spade, it’s always done ‘mutually’ especially since directors are stakeholders. Interestingly SW is still listed as active in companies house, maybe not been updated yet

The January Transfer Window …..Dos the major surgery start?
Bourbon Fox replied to Sly's topic in Leicester City Forum
I will not be holding my breath for anything except that familiar feeling of time slipping by with no activity and a couple of damp squibs towards the end. 'We're the famous Leicester City and we're going to do f**k all' -

DoF maybe. He built an elite machine off the pitch, he could do it again I'm sure.
