He’s everything I hate about the modern continental footballer. But I absolutely love the bloke.

LCFC an apology to the fans for 6 points deduction
Zear0 replied to Vestan Pance's topic in Leicester City Forum
We’re dealing with a leadership team whose incompetence is only rivalled by their arrogance. All season the club has been aggrieved at the PSR charges as they don’t believe they’re accountable for their mistakes. These people never apologise as they think they’re infallible. -
Give the man the trophy and the novelty sized cheque Hazel.

Got work tomorrow, toe down now Wu

Clearly we're linked by Karma. I scored a 12 today on a Par 5...

Sure someone has posted this already, but I’d definitely start him over Thomas still.

Step up given our recent form

Good luck to him, by some miracle a player managed to come out with credit from this season.

Prepared to wake up to more depressing news from the Middle East tomorrow.

I’ve always read/listened to Yanis as he’s a dying breed of intellectual politician who’s actually had a career that wasn’t exploitative in nature and relied on enlightenment and development of others. The ignorance of a majority of this generation’s politicians and their cabal is the antithesis of this shown by wearing their ignorance and lack of education as a badge of honour offset by income or power they hold. I’m glad he was able to articulate clearly the lasting damage the banking sector did to the world but it’s depressing that this is forgotten or ignored in order to deliberately scapegoat people for political convenience. 2008 really was the death of capitalism as we know it and the beginning of the hideous progression towards libertarianism. That said he still does bear the habits of my main frustration with the left in politics in that I remain sceptical that they can provide the solution to the problem we face now. He says himself that wealth and income taxes are ineffective when you consider the vast amount of capital stored in housing. He says a reduction in prices is the only solution which I semi agree with. My reticence with this is that this can only be achieved by hamstringing the younger generation. Outside the obvious of build my property to reduce demand ( side stepping the issue of population increase) you’d need to restrict lending conditions making it easier for the wealthy to flourish. The solution to this is long and difficult but my gripe is he stops short of saying how they’d achieve this. It’s also my main gripe with this podcast as it always seems to me they identify issues but never go into solutions for fear of being labelled populists. I was very interested in his views on the future of the EU as they did align closely to my own. As a remainer, I’ve found myself becoming more sceptical of the long term success of the bloc meaning I’ve got my own doubts in future alignment purely by fear of the consequence of what I fear is an inevitable collapse.

It is on the way back to Norfolk tbf

No it doesn’t, we got relegated.

And West Brom had a deduction for donating to a charity whilst Blackburn got fiddled by replaying a game against Ipswich when leading. It’s all whataboutary that we can’t cherry pick to suit ourselves.
-
The club deserved the deduction but aren’t fortune tellers to know when the deduction would be most beneficial. Given what the PL and EFL were trying to deduct we got off lightly, not that it mattered, in the end. Club and fans need to accept their medicine on this one and move on as there’s no benefit in dwelling on what ifs.

He’s certainly no Slimani

Was staying at my Dad’s as he’d been having a rough time. Was watching in my old bedroom (depressing) and my dad was downstairs not watching as he found it too anxious to watch. I made a really weird noise when Hazard scored that he thought was Spurs winning. Legged it downstairs at FT to embrace him and then went to town and got absolutely wrecked.
