  1. Way way too easy for Forest. A late christmas gift of 3 points. If this the new Newcastle norm, I reckon Howe is gone by the January window, no way with the owners trust him with funds.
  2. One of those matches where superior xG doesnt really reflect things at the minute.
  3. Think we'll will 2-1, our wingers will be too much for their full backs. Overall in the championship though, think people are under estimating Ipswich and overestimating Leeds based on a one off heavy defeat. We beat soon to be promoted West Brom 4-1 at the Hawthorns the season we went down to League 1.
  4. I voted No. I think we'll take the foot off the gas if we win the league.
  5. The absolute state of this. Modern day narcissism at its best.
  6. 2 sleeps to go until we get the Boxing Day 1963 results which are always presented as a crazy revelation deep dive into the archives despite being recycled to death every single year
  7. Jack Frost is quite dark isnt it? The kids dad dies, then comes back to life and effectively dies again.
  8. Why arent we winning 7 nil yet? TH-FRO-FVCKING-FROTHING AT THE BIT!!!!!
  9. I'd go as far as saying it doesnt matter at all. The league will be nice to win for this season to us (if we win it) but won last years championship is pretty irrelevant to Burnley or Sheffield United this season and trying to stay in the premier league.
  10. For me this just means its so important for us to get a win today. Ipswich will react to this, would take a draw on boxing day.
  11. Cant wait for Leeds to follow up this statement win with a limp defeat at Preston on Boxing day.
  12. Same, plenty of time for Ipswich to come back into it
  13. 1 nil Leeds
  14. Its up there with when a journeyman player announced their retirement from international football
  15. My cousin did the news for a local radio station down south years ago. They changed the style to make it more conversational between the main presenter and news/weather readers, she left when it was getting too intrusive for her, they were saying stuff like ' Thanks, enjoy your date later. Is that date 3? You know what they say happens on date 3'.
  16. Yeah fair enough. Didnt actually know or give any previously thought to the origin of holiday but seems so obvious now that I know
  17. Agreed. Irish rugby's social media hashtag is 'Team of Us'. How shit is that?
  18. Some mates would call me 'woke' but I always found Happy Holidays to sound a bit silly no matter what you are referring to. Saying Happy holidays for Diwali or Eid would be very strange by way of comparison so why do it for Christmas?
  19. Given his smily and happy persona I wonder if Sam Ryder is like that behind the scenes too, or if he is a complete and utter cvnt?
  20. I think the only reason it has so many up votes is the reference to Birmingham, even though the scenario is completely different as someone else has already said. Either way they got the desired effect from other mindless idiots.
  21. As long as Mavididi and Fatawu are on form we can get away with what we have for the rest of the season.
  22. I havent checked but they must at least in the top 8 spenders over the last few seasons if not the top 6. We were easily in the bottom 5 spenders.
  23. Shots fired! Is 'I would like' any better?
  24. I'd only want 3 or 4 changes to the starting XI at mostto keep the cohesion of the team. Then if we're cruising we take off the big guns, if we're struggling we bring on the players we rested.
