The problem, as has been mentioned before, is that no one will pay these clowns the sort of wages that we are paying. This means that they will probably turn down a move away unless the club pays them a 'golden handshake' to make up the differenece, or close to it. I think it is more likely they will be loaned out with us paying a majority of their wages.

Looks like he was on a downward trend even before he got here.

What players will be here next season in Div 1
Merchant_Banker replied to StevieH's topic in Leicester City Forum
Okoli, Kristiansen and Mavididi won't want to stay here. Choudhury will have offers, maybe Sheffield United again. Skipp will be loaned out because we can't afford him and no one will be willing to pay what we need for a permanent deal. -
What I don't get is why we keep playing the ball to Okoli, everyone knows he can't pass or control the ball yet he seems to receive the ball more than any other of our players. I suspect Norwich are giving him space to receive the ball knowing he will make a mistake at some stage.

Watching Mukasa?

I'm giving myself a "Whoosh", I totally missed the point of your comment.

Divine Mukasa joins on loan - Official

If this is true then the presence of Mukasa will be beneficial to him, a young player who is a little older, better than Monga and working hard to progress. -
Woods or Wood? The goalkeeper or the striker?

Middlesbrough (A) | Tue 24-Feb | 19:45 KO

This is something I don't understand, all the reviews appear to suggest that he does well when he plays, but 3 managers have now left him on the bench. What are we missing? -
We need to get 2 more points than WBA and/or 3 more points than Blackburn over the next 14 games. That is doable and should be easy given the squad apart from the fact that the majority of players seem to have given up. If he can get them motivated to a small extent we could be safe.

I understand that he completed all the formalities this morning and was told he needed to do the socail media next. He said "**** that we have a match on Saturday, I need to get on the traning ground and sort out this shit." IKFA.

IF Rowett takes/gets the job I think there are three options: - 1. The performance improves and we stay up - he keeps the job into next season. 2. The performance improves, but we still get relegated - he keeps the job next season as we won't be able to get anyone better and he has experience in League 1. 3. The performance continues to be sh*t and we get relegated - he gets the sack 3 weeks into pre-season and we spend the rest of it trying to get Dyche or Thomas Franck to take the job.

I believe King made several tactical mistakes in the Southampton match, the biggest being going to 3 at the back, which drew on even more pressure. Taking off Mukassa and Daka was also a mistake as they were leading the press, but he may have known they did not have the level of match fitness to keep up the pressure. Finally, bring on Ayew is always, and always will be, a mistake.

The comments about Vichai highlight what this club lost in the helicopter crash. He may not have known much about football, but he was a proper businessman. I can't imagine anyone making these comments about our current owner.

What's weird is that they have replaced their manager within days. Don't they know they are supposed to wait for a few weeks before considering their options then bring in the cheapest option.

Realistic Managerial Replacements
Merchant_Banker replied to winteriscoming's topic in Leicester City Forum
Screwed with most of this squad then. -
I do understand that and I agree that this is the major constraint at the moment. The point I was trying to make was that he should have a knowledgeable and competent Director of Operations who should make informed decisions regarding PSR. Those decisions should not be made by a millionaire polo player who knows nothing about running a football club.
-
I don't think we actually need King Power out. What we need from them is to provide money for wages and transfers, which they have done and to appoint senior management who know how to run a football club, which they have failed dismally to do. Aiyawatt needs to accept that he is not a business man and get someone in who can do the job then get out of the way and let them do their job. If he can't then he needs to go.
