There is light! It’s paying off
Merchant_Banker replied to JonnyZeroFox's topic in Leicester City Forum
Not sure if that's possible, he's not allowed to sign a professional contract at 16, but is allowed to agree to a contract to sign a contract when he is 17. Hopefully someone with a lot more expertise can comment on that from a legal standpoint. -
Fulham linked now 'Really Special' Leicester City Star Faces Potential Big Move

I didn't really believe it when I read it!
-
I thought I read that Kone said he didn't want to come here, that he was worried about the competition!
-
He has just turned 17 and was not shown up playing against and alongside experienced professionals. Unlike the majority of those players he will get a lot better.
-
I only watched the highlights, but I am not sure if this is true. As others have said, if the ball was played in front of him he would have had to take it on his weaker right foot. Page knows what Fatawu wants to do and, being left footed himself, knows how he needs to receive the ball. Obviously I might be completely wrong!

I thought it was 'a big pizza pie', as in round like the moon.

Maybe it's the other way around. We are using this rumour to push through a deal for Ivanovic?

QPR want to see him play before they buy him

Choudhury (Wrexham interest, Football League World)
Merchant_Banker replied to Sly's topic in Transfer Talk
I am shocked that so many people are keen to get rid of him. With Skipp and Soumare the options in midfield, Choudhary is the only physical players we can put on to strengthen the midfield. He is not PL quality, but we are not in the PL at the moment and based on the last couple of games we could be here for a while. -
Championship LIVE: Leicester City v Sheffield Wednesday - text updates, stats & head-to-head - BBC Sport Didn't realise Bruno Fernandes had gone to Sheffield Wednesday, that's a bit of a step down isn't it?

So 17-0 brings it up to last year's total. Unfortunately I can see them defending deep and scrapping to give nothing away. I can see a 1-0 I am just not sure which way!
-
Just checked the stats on Vardy and KDH in our last Championship season. Vardy scored 18, KDH scored 12 and assisted 14. Not sure where those missing goals are coming from this season. Starting to worry, please tell me everything will be ok.

The "do they mean us?" thread pt 4
Merchant_Banker replied to davieG's topic in Leicester City Forum
I was thinking something similar a couple of days ago. Our first choice for the 3 behind the striker is Mavididi, El Khanouss and Fatawu, which is probably the best group of player in those positions in the league. Our second choice is probably Monga, Alves and McAteer and I believe half the clubs in the Championship would be over the moon for those 3 players to be in their starting line up. -
James Justin (signed for Leeds, official. 10m.)

If you mean Coulibaly then I agree, if you mean Aluko then I definitely don't! -

Aluko played more in pre-season than Coulibaly. I suspect he is seen as cover. -
Wouldn't Chelsea have to make a profit for this to be relevant?

Wout to Monaco (loan with ~€8m option, official)
Merchant_Banker replied to CloudFox's topic in Transfer Talk
It's a shame Wilson-Brown went on loan, he would have been my 4th choice CB. Nelson, Okoli, Aluko, Wilson-Brown, Chouhury, JJ, ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Vestergaard,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Faes -
No, the fact he moved his hand toward the ball suggests he was concerned about giving away a chance soon after coming on. He looked a little nervous in a couple of other challenges in the first few minutes, but as I said he grew into the game. I still think he will be our best CB with a run of games.

Mads Hermansen (close to 18m move to West Ham)
Merchant_Banker replied to MPH's topic in Transfer Talk
I thought he and Vestergaard were poor even when we were dominant in the first half -
Winks came on as a late sub.
-
He was poor when he came lln, but certainly grew into the game, what he played of it.
-
I was sure he would go to a mid-table PL side!
-
I don't think BDCR makes the squad at the moment. How EFL squad rules impact Leicester City transfer business with Harry Souttar decision needed - Leicestershire Live I would expect Ayew up front though.

Didn't realise Jayden Joseph was 19. If he is not having a serious involvement in the first team he should definitely go on loan.
