Said at the time RVN was a gamble, especially when it was inevitable that we were always going to be in a relegation battle. Signings like Ayew, Skipp and BDC in the summer were atrocious signings, that's before you factor in the fee for Skipp. The correct appointment after coopers sacking was go all out for Moyes. That level of premier league experience is invaluable. I cannot believe that so far in a battle to stay up we've only acquired Coulibaly. RVN may not be upto the task but isnt the only problem. We need managerial stability and the board should be at least backing him with a couple more signings.

I do feel sorry for him, although I thought he wasn't the right appointment. He seemed to hint that money would be spent in the january transfer window, which we're half way through with only 1 signing. Strange decision to being Ayew back in after the Man city game which was probably our best performance this season. Us staying in the league isn't going to be based on our defence as it's our weakest area, so should be using our best attacking line up.
