I agree, but I wouldn’t put any question mark over Iborra. He oozes class. Yes he makes mistakes, but he’s done well with limited opportunities. I think also we’ll see a different Iheanacho with a pre season in him.

If this slump started 6 weeks earlier we could be going down this season. Luckily we have managed to stay midtable and top half, which is unbelievable given our relegation form for the last 19 games. That really is a testament to how poor the Premier League is actually.
-
Absolutely this 1000%. There can be no doubt, he’s the French Peter Taylor.
-
We didn’t fluke anything. I knew these types of criticisms would come as soon as we went back to midtable. We were the most consistent and best team. End of, oh and we won the league by 10 points. Anyone who thinks otherwise is delusional and jealous.

This guy is and will go down as an LCFC legend. No coincidence the great escape happened more or less as soon as he came. We tightened up at the back massively. He was also immense the following year. I will never forget being behind the goal at Spurs and that header looping in. Also was pivotal in the champions league partnering Benalouane when Calamity Wes got injured. Huuuuuuuuuth!

Increasing numbers of newspapers are saying he is for the sack. In my eyes it is now inevitable

Poor TV pundits with sh#te opinions
Wasyls Pec Deck replied to willie-bell-in-rothley's topic in Leicester City Forum
There are very few pundits who have the detailed insights a supporter has. They have to an overview of every club, whereas we are experts in one. -
My first choice would be Rafa, and think he’d come here. Whoever comes here has a rebuilding job for sure, but there are also some darn good players here to build a side around. Wagner has done a great job on limited resources, but is our job a bit different - probably. Would be a good fit? Only time would tell. My concern would be that he’s Rudkin’s man, having tried hard to get him to be Ranieiri’s permanent replacement. And people on here seriously question his judgement!

So sweet

I’ll start the bidding. The local Sunday team needs a ringer and I think Musa fits the bill!
-
Just out of interest, those who went to the game and didn’t know about the lap of honour - would you have stayed to see it?
-
Did you hear that personally? £50m is 2 decent players in today’s market
-
He looks a broken man on the touch line and in interviews. It’s painful to watch. He should go for our sake, but also for his. It’s getting embarrassing.

I know many an Arsenal fan who delighted in heavy losses under Wenger in recent season.
-
I’ve gone full circle, in before Palace. Out after Palace. I’m still out, but it’s moved on from foaming at the mouth to now feeling sorry for him. It’s so tragic, and it can only end in one way. There is no way back from where the club and supporters are.

Name an option you would not replace Puel with

Steve Walsh - A revisionist history
Wasyls Pec Deck replied to The whole world smiles's topic in Leicester City Forum
I think Arsenal fans might take issue with calling Mustafi and Kolasinic “pretty solid”. Most of those Everton signings have been there a season, some of them 6 months or less. Harsh to judge based on that I would say. And I would say that same about Mendy. -
To be fair I thought that when I saw Ranieri and his lot, and Shakey and Stowell etc stood apart from each other first game of 15-16 season...
-
Matty Etherington as a pundit on Sky earlier talking about Stoke said getting rid of players like Glenn Whelan was an example of not enough solid characters in the dressing room - grifters, people who work and throw a rocket if others are slacking. Do we have enough of those characters these days? I don’t know... maybe we do, or maybe it’s just that they are overpaid, have already chased and attained their dream/big contract...? You can’t imagine a team with Walsh, Taggs, Lennon, Marshy etc just laying down like we are at the moment. Maybe I’m wrong?
-
I’d like to know he took that, seeing as there are no players on the pitch. Could have been just after the lap for all we know.
-
I’d keep Benalouane over Puel any day. Understated and treated harshly. He’s also responsible for 2/3 efforts on goal!
-
To be fair, Silva has done ok. Decent effort and hilarious crowd reaction.

In recent months I’ve genuibely been indifferent to watching us, and that has never happened in my 32 years. And as I type, the commentator says “no shots on target for Leicester City” and it’s the 69th minute. I don’t demand to win every week, and midtable is fine but the manner of this decline when there has been something to play for (Europe) is absymal. Please leave now you clueless French prat.

There’s experimenting and then there’s playing Benalouane at right wing back(?). **** sake.
