Spuds and Semi finals at Wemberley
Wasyls Pec Deck replied to Always Next Year's topic in Leicester City Forum
It will massively taint the competition if they win it. That said, we know they’re bottlers, and think of the pressure of playing a semi final and possibly final at home. -
That’s an oversimplification, but yes. Counter attacking... I’m not looking for an excuse, but trying to find one of the many plausible reasons.
-
Re Morgan. You just need to look at him these days - increasingly cumbersome, poor distribution, panics. Basically everything Dragovic excels at. He’s that bit slower as well. We need to move on at some point, and now seems the right time.
-
We used to play on the front foot, and I think this was generally more exciting, got the fans going etc. With the new style Puel has obviously been given a brief to introduce, arguably it is less exciting and fast paced - is it a surprise the atmosphere has got more lukewarm?
-
Another game where he was a passenger. Someone on Twitter saying that in one of the halves he only had 9 touches of the ball. If true, and it feels about right, that’s terrible. Not 9 tackles or passes - touches!!!

Djeziri! Now that name rings a bell. Jason Jarret was utterly poor as well -

Fernando Pasquinelli (though I think strictly speaking he was on trial) Franck Rolling Jason Wilcox Scot Gemmill Stefan Moore Jason Chambers Hossein Kaebi Carl Cort I’m going on a goalkeeper session: Gavin Ward Simon Royce Danny Coyne Lars Hirschfeld Mark Bunn David Martin David Stockdale Carl Ikeme Ricardo Chris Kirkland Chris Weale (who was decent actually) -

Some absolute classics in here. I will add captain fantastic Paddy McCarthy to the mix. -
Ndidi is a superior player, who himself is better when partnered with an experienced player - like a Silva, an Iborra etc. And it’s easy to not lose the ball when you pass it sideways. Reminds me of the nickname given to Barry Ferguson - Barry the crab...
-
The selection puzzles me. No creativity yet we have a £25m creative forward thinking mid on the bench. James and Morgan - wtf? Dragovic and Silva not only suit the game Puel wants to play, but they are also much better players. Chilwell continues to be poor. Vardy isolated on his own. What a mess. It was looking promising a month ago that we might nab Europe, but that prospect is slowing ebbing away.

One bad game. People need to lighten up on here. You’d miss him if he went.
-
Bit inconsistent at this short passing game malarkey, particularly from the back. Giving it away far too cheaply, which is suivide against these pricks
-
Haha those 2 subs perhaps an acknowledgement his change at half time has gone tits up
-
I can see why Puel made the sub, but it seems to have unsettled us and let them come on to us. We had good momentum at the end of the first half, and now it’s gone.

Another Spurs myth that needs debunking

Brilliant read. It is satisfying how their supposedly superior footballing team will have nothing to show for it. In decades to come who will people remember? The 5,000-1 miracle title win or a team who played decent football for a few years, and finished 2nd once(?). -
Perhaps Bluetooth things are a bit flakey and crap? That's what I'm starting to think

Does anyone on here know anything about linking an iPod classic to a new car via Bluetooth? The vehicle has one USB port, which I will mostly need to use Apple CarPlay for Maps (as a sat nav). Bought something for about a tenner from Amazon which plugs into the 30 pin port of the iPod (not the headphone jack). The blue light indicates it is 'pairing' but car can't pick it up. Anyone have experience of connecting an iPod Classic to a car via Bluetooth? I'm starting to question whether it's possible, but I think it is.

Not sure how I haven't noticed that. Great find!

Same here. Me and my dad prioritised CL over Prem last season, as we live in North Lancs and South Coast. i don't see any justification in not issuing points for CL. I wonder if there is also a way to look purchase history going back 5-10-15 years - as some have said proper loyalty going back to when we were shit. You're not loyal until you've stood at Yeovil on a midweek and had Bovril accidentally poured on your jeans in my opinion. But I bet they wouldn't have the records. -
