You gotta Röhl with it ‘Cause Rudkin’s ruined it Signings on deadline day And no one’s heard of it

Can we hold on?

Momentum all with the Jerries now. Hard to see how we win from here. Scott going off was massive.

Achtung!
-
Proper champagne football this under Carsley. Dynamic, fluid, well coached and everyone clearly knows their role. Brilliant 👏🏼 Only 2, but should be 4 or 5.

You gotta Rohl with it!

I’ve just lumped a reasonably sized bet on, so no pressure 😜

Sauce or source?

Gosh I didn’t see this coming. Bit out the blue isn’t it? -

Sounds familiar! Perhaps apart from the bit about furious fans as many of ours seem fairly content. But an incredible turn of events! -
He could be a personality type that we need, will instil discipline and sort all that side of things out. I’m not convinced he’ll suit the squad, but then again I’d be willing to give him a go for the aforementioned reasons. But if he neglects the likes of Fatawu, Mavididi, Monga etc and opts for BDCR and Ayew etc then I would turn very quickly and so would others. On balance I’d say yes, just.

King Power: A Tale of Rise and Ruin

They just need to all **** off out the club -
Regardless of how well he did, no one can credibly tell me he was backed. He was only able to sign a full back for £3m and one coach - so he had the same group of coaches that Cooper brought in. It was always going to be a recipe for not doing very well.
-
Has anyone asked why Rohl would swap one shit show for another? I think he can get a better gig than ours
-
Yes and Ruud wasn’t backed - not with players or staff (other than one). He was set up to fail and sort of a pointless appointment given all that. I feel sorry for him really.
-
Surely blocking young talent depends on budgets and the brief from the board? I thought Michael Keane was still playing as well?

Ex Players - They used to play for us

Cracking stat this. I saw it recently. I think it stretches as far as all Wembley appearances in the 90s? Which obviously includes the photo above, although don’t think he played in the league cup final v Spurs? -
It will be interesting if come 1 July RvN is still in charge. And I’m not sure RvN has been silent. He’s been calling for clarity, whereas he could have just said “I’m under contract etc…”. I’m not sure he’s leaving, but wary I’m in a minority there. I’d start to think he’s off if his Dutch mate GK coach leaves as is rumoured.

Yea the bloke doesn’t know his arse from his elbow. So many signs he’s inept, and not just concerning us - even the family business have moved him away from day to day decision-making.
-
Also that the likes of Brighton, Brentford and Bournemouth are now streets ahead is just embarrassing. Particularly because they’re profiting from many of things WE used to do well. I don’t see Forest being a stable project unlike the B clubs. They’ve had one good season and I expect they’ll be bottom half next season. But having said all that - none of them will have the success we have had. So that’s something at least.
-
We can say this a hell of a lot in recent years.

Vichai was alive and kicking in 2015-16, wasn’t he? We did well after he died because he left the organisation in a bloody good place. A young talented squad that was managed well for a good amount of time. Top rode the crest of the wave for a time, but as soon as it became reflective of Top it was a race to the bottom. Vichai may have promoted Rudkin, but he didn’t let him have the keys to the place like Top has. Vichai built an empire, Top has overseen its fall.
-
For anyone who knows history he’s basically King John who cocked things up after his father Henry II had a long and successful reign. Such a shame because Vichai left the club in such a strong position. I know we won the cup under Vichai, but ever since it’s almost like he’s not been too bothered.
