As we embark on our second third tier campaign, Top is proud to welcome back Topps Tiles as our new sponsors. Just like our club, Topps Tiles motto is ‘no need to paper over the crack, when you’ve got a Top’. 12 months later… The club are determined to add the elusive 4th tier title to our haul of silverware, and hope to become the first team in England to bag all four top tier titles, mostly in reverse order

We go into admin, lose 20 points and I think it’s 50/50 at best depending on the extent of the clear out. Actually it’s probably more likely than not

Ipswich are in form and going for automatic promotion, so they should win. But we’re done even if Ipswich win. Surely most of us have accepted that by now?

We don’t deserve to be saved by others incompetences as we are far more incompetent than them.- 164 replies

Omg reading that has just dawned on me we will likely play rivals U23 teams… LOL

As we’re heading in that direction we might as well bag that as well

I’ve noticed in the last few games much more anti regime chatter. It has become an accepted view now I think. But you’re right to point at the almost free pass Aiyawatt seems to have, mainly I think because of what his father did and I think people feel sorry for him. But as a fan base we need to be more vocal and demand change. I think if a protest happens last home game as we’ll be down by then, I think it will get good numbers - but only if enough folk know about it. I do think how the game ended yesterday was a bit of a turning point for many, just a shame that’s it’s taken to being 4 points cut adrift with a few games left for people to wake up.

I don’t think I’m ashamed. More apathy, and I’ve never been like that before. Sounds strange but I’m not actually bothered if we go down, and I feel mad saying that. But there’s an inevitability about it. Players not caring, not rolling their sleeves up etc - and if they don’t care, why should I? And that’s not even talking about the gross incompetence and negligence that has overseen the squad building.

First couple of games the opposition didn’t know him and he was mostly free to cause havoc. Recently clubs have cottoned on and he’s now quickly got 2 or 3 players on him as soon as he receives the ball. That and obviously he’s been brought down to the level of those around him. He was very ponderous yesterday and that pass from the free kick was never on. -
If we go into administration it’s a 20 point deduction and that could easily see us relegated again to League 2.

It’s clear as day that everything is stale, and has been for a while. -
We’ve gone. We had one foot in the grave anyway, and now we’re totally cooked. The last 10-15 mins today were totally inept - no urgency, no ideas and no quality. No one wants to take responsibility or take risks. They are paralysed. I’m also convinced League One is not rock bottom under Aiyawatt and Rudkin.
-
That goes without saying
-
Weird isn’t it. Just passively watching and accepting what’s going on. I do wonder how low we’d have to get for them to become more vocal.
-
It’s amazing the penny hasn’t dropped already
-
Also ask yourself why you’d trust Aiyawatt and Rudkin to appoint anyone? Look at the personnel they've brought to the club… why is this bloke any different? Don’t get me wrong I hope he’s the second coming and he turns us around, but I think it’s more likely we’ll be in League Two within a few years
-
He won’t be a success because he’s working in an organisation headed by an idiot with a toxic culture who is blinded by his weaknesses
-
At this point he is essentially the face of the decline

League 1 who do we get rid of?

I think the better question is who do we keep!
