  1. Next you'll see Daka do something remotely resembling a professional footballer.
  2. Fair enough I was just theorising based on naked eye judgement. A bit like whoever stuck these on
  3. I think it is centred on the top version, its just the peak of the adidas logo isn't. Underneath looks far better.
  4. They didn't. 1 foot on or behind the line as the taker strikes the ball. They literally have people watching replays to ensure it's a fair penalty.
  5. I have a gut feeling of positivity around this appointment, something I didn't get with the last 2. I don't want for alot this season. Bring in/through some likeable players that the fans can get behind, bridge the gap between club and fans, and for the love of God don't go and get yourself promoted to that 17 team Super League another ill-prepared season like the 1 just gone is the last thing g we need.
  6. Personally think that away kit is glorious, if the stripes are that faded yellow and its not a lighting issue. And the good thing about betting sponsors is you can request sponsor sponsorless shirts. Happy with those kits if they're real.
  7. They had the whole of pre season with just Andy King and the Sports Science team. Fitness won't be an issue.
  8. Popping in to once again suggest Kasper Høgh
  9. I love listening to Kingy.
  10. Welcome to Leicester City, you must be new here.
  11. The most "we're just a run-of-the-mill Championship team now" appointment we could possibly make. Hilarious!
  12. The last few players i can think of that fetched a fee, that were thought of as not to standard are Musa, Iborra and Lawrence. I remember thinking we actually got decent money for those 3. So yes, I think your point is valid and probably proves that we overpay (fees and wages) for squad players who then can't move sideways or down the football pyramid when they're deemed surplus.
  13. Kasper Høgh is the guy. And grab Emil Breivik while we're out that way, too.
  14. Or he ends up on loan at Brescia/Bari/Sampdoria/Palermo before leaving on a free.
  15. Top 6, no. Top 17, possibly! Teams coming up will be massively less likely to gamble, with the gap widening each year. Do you see any of the 3 promoted teams surviving next year? Who goes down if you do?
  16. It's funny, because if it got the review it actually needed (and not the 1 they want that favours them) they'd be nowhere near Europe at all: 1st - Champions League 2nd/FA Cup - Europa League 3rd/League Cup - Conference League That would actually add credibility to each competition and add pressure to the bigger clubs to stop them all getting Europe every season. You want to finish upper mid table, trophy-less, and walk straight into European competition. Have some perspective, you'll be playing teams that have actually had to WIN their league to get where you are.
  17. Exactly. I watched Derby vs Stoke on the final matchday, the drop off in quality from the top teams to the relegation scrappers is arguably as wide as the Prem. And these teams have no budget compared to top level football so the gap isn't being bridged.
  18. Don't get our hopes up!
  19. 2 pages in and no mention of Banter Ben Hamer.
  20. Struggle to see why they would have given up on CL? Chelsea have to play Liverpool, Newcastle and Forest. Newcastle also go away to Arsenal. Alot of points to take off each other. Forest... well, they play us
  21. I know we are bad and it probably goes without saying, but this Saints team are truly truly awful. They look so poor when possession is turned over.
  22. Come on!? If we get anything from this game it won't be down to "pride" Most of our players have zero interest left in us, and they all definitely lack the backbone to drag themselves up for a local derby.
  23. I'd bet before Vichai's passing there were plans for a stronger link between the clubs, but because Top is in WAY above his head it's just left in its current capacity.
  24. More to do with their rise than our fall. It's not a national league fixture. We've dropped 1 tier.
  25. Can't see Luton, Preston and Hull all getting results. Reckon Derby will be fine.
