Really grumpy about this one. I’ve got two season tickets - me and my youngest - but we rotate between myself, my wife and both kids so we all get lots of games each season. Got a mate and his son not going to this so was going to use his 2 tickets and my 2 to get 4 together only to be told I had to collect on match day from Cardiff with ID, obviously I can’t now use my mates tickets but also my 2 under 16’s don’t even have ID so now none of us can go!

Same as everyone else, I’m after 2 for this - ideally an adult and under 16’s if by any miracle a couple can’t make it.

This is a result of the “sweeper keeper “, there’s no need now to have a centre back sitting deep when the keeper does it for him so teams can play - other new phrase - “a high line”.

Few years since I’ve been but there used to be reasonably cheap parking on some of the industrial car parks off branch lane just a short walk from the ground but it’s good for a quick exit afterwards too.

I can’t see how we hold onto him for more than one season even if we go up, this guy looks better than pretty much any keeper in the prem outside Man City, Liverpool and Arsenal.

I was saying the other day to some mates that the best thing about being relegated is the lack of teams from liverpool to play against so we don’t have to hear the morons embarrassing our club singing “feed the scousers” and “always the victim”.

The Ashes - and if England lose that after seeing us relegated I’m giving up on sport!

Tickets arrived today. I’m thinking of heading up early and having a bite to eat in the city, had anyone got the shuttle bus before from near the train station? I don’t really want to drive to Leeds, have a bite and then drive out to Elland Rd if I can help it.

This is the first time I’ve been to Leeds this century, is there a decent away pub near the ground or is it into the city for a few and then make our way out to the ground ?

Looking again at that second Spurs goal how the hell was Dier’s challenge for the header not looked at? He’s climbing all over the defender and has both hands on his shoulders for leverage.

I was at king power stadium roughly 3 years ago for a coaches development night and the head of our academy said that when he was appointed he was told the expectation was to get one player per season into the first team. Since he’s been there he’s pretty much don’t just that, Chilwell, Barnes, Choudhury, Thomas, Brunt, Alves, Nelson and Braybrooke have all made first team appearances. Not everyone is going to move on for £50m+ but I’d say we have one of the most successful academies in the past 7-10 years.
